“Yoo Jin told you everything, didn’t she? Ugh, this is bad. You rotten guy.”

Convinced Yoo Jin had exposed all her secrets, Ha Yeon tensed her eyes and placed both hands firmly on her hips. Though she meant it as an expression of anger, Min Je saw only adorable charm—so much so that a quiet chuckle slipped out despite himself.

“I’d really like to see the materials you’ve gathered. Would you mind showing them to me?”

Min Je gently coaxed Ha Yeon once more, his tone soft and inviting.

“But… it’s kind of embarrassing.”

Ha Yeon hesitated, suddenly shy at the thought of him seeing the clippings she’d saved.

“Come on, it’s not like it’s your diary. If it’s just magazine articles or news pieces, what’s the harm?”

Hmm, was that really true? Ha Yeon tilted her head, swayed by Min Je’s seemingly reasonable argument.

Too tipsy to notice the hidden trap in his words, she failed to realize he spoke as if he’d already seen the contents of her files.

“Then… just a moment, please.”

Unable to refuse any longer, Ha Yeon headed to her room, and Min Je subtly covered his mouth with one hand to hide his rising smile.

Soon after, Ha Yeon returned with a stack of files.

Only one, right? Min Je’s eyes widened in surprise.
