Monday passed in a blur, and Tuesday arrived.

Early in the morning, I Na got up, quickly freshened up, and was drying her hair when a message came in from Si Woo.

Did you sleep well? Hope you have a good commute. Let’s meet after work later.

Yeah, you too. Have a good commute. See you later.

After sending her reply, I Na finished drying her hair and did a quick makeup routine.

Opening her wardrobe, I Na looked through her clothes, then chose an ivory knit sweater paired with a dark brown skirt featuring a dense checkered pattern and a matching jacket.

She took one last glance in the mirror, slung her handbag over her shoulder, and headed out the door.

An hour later, upon arriving at the office, I Na set down her handbag and headed to the break room, where Se Na and Eun Jung were chatting.

“Assistant Manager Seo, you’re here?”

Both greeted her, and I Na returned their greetings with a smile.

“Oh, right! Assistant Manager Seo.”

As I Na prepared her coffee, Se Na sidled up close and said,

“About that chicken-and-beer treat you promised us next week—how about Tuesday? We all checked, and everyone’s free that day.”

“Yeah, sure. That works for me too.”

“Then I’ll go ahead and make a reservation. That place is super popular, so booking ahead is best.”
