“Hey. Let’s go ahead and order first. Si Woo, did you happen to bring your car?”

“Nope. I left it at home on purpose today because I wanted to drink.”

“Ohh! I really like that attitude. Then shall we properly catch up on our eleven-year reunion?”

Si Woo smiled and held up his finger, making an OK sign.

Hyun Joo excitedly pressed the call button and ordered some drinks and side dishes.

Shortly after, the alcohol arrived, and the three of them slowly drank while sharing stories that had built up over the past eleven years.

Several hours later, after chatting and drinking about all sorts of things, it was nearly 10 p.m.

Quite a few empty bottles had already piled up on the table.

“So you’ve made up your mind to stay in Seoul permanently now?”

Si Woo nodded in response to Hyun Joo’s question.

“Yeah. I originally planned to come up earlier, but I wanted to help my mom until she closed her clinic.”

Si Woo’s mother had also been a veterinarian, and until last winter, Si Woo had run an animal hospital with her in Busan.

“Do you have someone you know in Seoul that made you decide to move up here?”

“The director at the animal hospital I’m working at now is my senior from university. He kept inviting me to come since three years ago, but back then the circumstances just didn’t allow it.”

“So your mom has completely retired from running the clinic now?”
