After going upstairs, Juwon put the bag in front of Juhee, who was watching the drama.
“What’s this?”
“Ice cream.”
“Oh? Ice cream?”
Looking into the bag, Juhee pulled out a strawberry-flavored ice cream.
“Oh, Juwon. Did you buy strawberry-flavored ice cream that Noona likes? Well done. You did well.”
Avoiding Juhee’s touch that seemed to explode even her bowels, Juwon looked at Ina.
Taking out a mango-flavored ice cream, Juwon handed it to Ina.
“This is what you like.”
Looking at Juwon with round eyes, Ina smiled as Juwon handed the ice cream to her.
“T-Thank you.”
Ina looked at Juwon with a somewhat bewildered expression.
“Aren’t you going to eat?”
Ina asked, and Juwon sat down on the sofa without saying a word.
Ina quickly sat down next to Juwon.
Quietly tearing open the ice cream bag, Juwon stared at Ina without saying a word.
When their eyes met again, Juwon smiled at Ina.
Feeling awkward, Ina smiled back and awkwardly brought the ice cream to her mouth.
‘Is the tension finally easing?’
Watching the two of them, Juhee smiled and then turned her gaze back to the TV screen.
After fifty minutes, the drama ended, and Juhee stretched, getting up from her seat.
“Ah, tired. I need to wash up and sleep now.”
“Really?”
As Ina got up too, Juhee sat her back down.
“I’ll wash up and go to bed, so you stay and hang out with Juwon. Well, there might be things to talk about between you two, right?”
Juhee winked and then headed to the bathroom.
After a while, Juhee, who had quickly washed up, winked at Ina and said, “I’m going to bed first. Even if you sleep next to Ju tonight, I won’t say a word.”
“What? Oh, no. Why would I sleep next to Juwon?”
Ina stammered, surprised.
Then Juhee made a gesture to tuck in and smiled mischievously.
“Why are you like this? Just the two of us? We’re both adults, and right now, sparks are flying just looking at each other, you know? I’ve been through it too, whether you believe it or not. So, stop fighting and have a good talk. So tomorrow morning, let’s see each other in love mode. Okay? Well then, I’m really going to collapse now. Bye-bye.”
With a big yawn, Juhee shook her hands and disappeared into her room.
Left behind, Ina looked at Juwon with a bewildered expression, and Juwon was staring at Ina intensely.
Surprised, Ina stood up abruptly.
“Uh, well, I’ll wash up and be out in a bit.”
“Sure, go ahead.”
Nodding, Juwon watched as Ina quickly went into the bathroom.
After entering the bathroom and taking a deep breath, Ina took a quick shower and brushed her teeth.
After a while, when she came out of the bathroom, she heard Juwon saying he would also go and wash up.
As Juwon entered the bathroom, Ina quickly straightened up the living room and checked Juwon’s bed in the small room.
She touched the room’s temperature and checked if the blanket was warm enough. As she was doing this, she heard the sound of the door opening.
Turning around, Ina saw Juwon closing the door and staring at her.
With deep and intense eyes.
