Though it hadn’t been planned, thanks to him giving them a ride, the three of them arrived at the art supply store much sooner.

Actually, it was Joo Ah who first suggested stopping by the store. She’d quickly become friendly with some of her students at the art academy and wanted to get one of them—celebrating a birthday—a slightly more practical gift.

Coincidentally, Do Jin needed to restock some supplies, and Ga Eul felt like browsing the store for the first time in ages, so she readily agreed and came along.

Ga Eul’s eyes darted busily as she followed her friends into the store. A bright spark lit up her gaze.

“Wow, it’s been forever since I’ve been to an art store. This place is so spacious and packed with stuff.”

Thanks to Chairman Han’s particular attention to ensuring Ga Eul had an environment where she could focus solely on painting, she’d long since stopped needing to shop for materials herself.

Supplies were always delivered to her studio before she even ran out, and there was never any shortage. Still, window-shopping offered its own special kind of fun.

Watching Ga Eul’s wide-eyed, fascinated exploration, Joo Ah swelled with pride.

“Right? I didn’t drag you all the way here for nothing! The little neighborhood shops don’t have much worth buying. If that’s the case, it’s better to come here, even if it’s a bit farther.”

“True. This place really has everything under the sun.”

Ga Eul immediately nodded in agreement with Joo Ah and quickly scanned her surroundings.

The warm air inside the store, so different from outside, mingled with Ga Eul’s excited mood, visibly coloring her cheeks a delicate peachy pink as she kept exclaiming in delight.

Seeing Ga Eul’s enthusiastic reaction, Joo Ah felt secretly pleased and soon turned her attention to picking out her own needed supplies. Do Jin did the same, and though Ga Eul didn’t intend to buy anything, she’d long since been captivated by the store’s offerings.

Following behind Ga Eul, Gi Tae quietly suppressed a smile.

Normally, one of his steps equaled two of hers, so he always slowed his pace to accommodate her—but today, Ga Eul moved so briskly there was no need.
