Ga Eul spent the entire week holed up in her studio, desperately trying to follow his instructions.

But without her own willpower backing her up, her work showed no sign of progress at all.

She kept trying to draw, yet nothing decent came out. At this rate, she feared she’d hear that her new pieces were worse than her old ones.

If it wasn’t because she couldn’t draw, wouldn’t it be safer to just submit her previous work instead?

Her studio was already cluttered with several half-finished canvases carelessly strewn about. A few were technically complete, but none of them satisfied her.

It was as if she’d suddenly hit a creative slump.

‘It wasn’t even this bad when I was preparing for art school entrance exams…’

It felt as if she’d merely tried hard to imitate her father’s paintings.

Shaking off those useless thoughts and trying to refocus, Ga Eul shook her head and picked up her brush again.
