Sunwoo tightened his grip on her hand.

“I think I fell for you at first sight—the day you barged into my office out of the blue, carrying a huge camera bag.”

“Really?”

“Especially loved your audacity when you handed me your future father-in-law’s corruption files and asked me to call off the wedding.”

Recalling that day, Green grew shy and scratched her cheek with her finger.

“At the time, I genuinely thought that was the best way.”

“I’ll never forget how you looked at me—utterly baffled—when I told you I actually wanted the wedding to happen.”

Green giggled softly and rested her head back on his shoulder.

“Thank you for convincing me to go through with the marriage back then. If I’d exposed my father’s corruption and the wedding had been canceled anyway, ugh!”

Just thinking about it made her shudder in distaste. As the car happened to stop at a red light, Sunwoo impulsively kissed her.

“Sunwoo, it’s dangerous to do that while driving.”

“That’s exactly why you should stop being so cute. If you keep this up, I might really do something dangerous.”

As Sunwoo’s dark eyes deepened in color, Green unconsciously bit her lip.

From that moment on, until they reached the hotel, the two held each other’s hands tightly and didn’t exchange a single word.

The deluxe hotel suite Sunwoo had reserved boasted a stunning view overlooking the entire city of Paris.
