Even after all the reporters had left, Green and Jenny remained seated in place for a while.

“Jenny, are you okay?”

Green gave Jenny a tough-looking smile, then quickly checked her expression.

“Shouldn’t we go meet Morgan now?”

“We should. I already texted Hanna that we’d be heading home soon.”

“Then shall we get up?”

Though they said that, neither Green nor Jenny moved—completely drained of energy, as if all their strength had vanished.

Just then, the press room door opened, and Team Leader Yoo Seo Jun, Jenny’s manager, walked in.

“Ms. Green, Head Manager Jin Sunwoo has arrived. Should I let him in?”

“Mr. Sunwoo? Wait—today was the day he was supposed to return from Singapore, wasn’t it? Ugh, so much happened all at once I can’t even think straight. Yes, please let him in.”

Team Leader Yoo glanced at Jenny, then reluctantly added,

“Director Ahn Yong Ki is with him as well. I’ll show them in.”

Green’s face had brightened instantly at the mention of Sunwoo, but it hardened the moment she heard Yong Ki had come too.
