While Green and Sunwoo were spending time alone in the Hanok Village of Gongju, Morgan attended the press launch event for a new virtual celebrity program she was joining.

Right before the first shoot, the production company had gathered entertainment reporters.

To maintain the program’s mystique, they had decided to reveal only the male cast members to the press that day.

Morgan carefully scanned the faces of her fellow cast members.

Aside from herself, a model, the other three participants in their twenties—the KAIST Doctor, the Youngest Chopin Competition Winner Pianist, and the National Soccer Player—were seeing each other’s faces for the first time that day.

For a moment, Morgan couldn’t help but let out a dry laugh. The production team’s obvious ploy to cover every possible appeal point in a desperate bid to win over fickle female hearts was painfully transparent.

‘So the KAIST Doctor is the brainy type, the pianist handles romance, the national soccer player brings physical strength—and I must be the one in charge of looks?’

The female MC hosting the event enthusiastically introduced each cast member one by one, never failing to punctuate her words with exaggerated gasps and over-the-top reactions.

In stark contrast to the cheerful atmosphere of the venue, the cast members eyed each other warily, sizing up their newfound counterparts.

Privately, each of them mentally ranked their competition. Confident that they reigned supreme in their own fields, their expressions silently declared that even if first place might be out of reach, second place was well within their grasp.

Once the general introductions of the cast, production team, and program concluded, a joint Q&A session with the reporters followed for a while.

A string of predictable questions and answers unfolded—about their ideal types, their determination toward the show, and how they’d showcase their charms.

“Alright, that concludes our group questions. We’ll now move on to individual interviews. We’ve already received from each of you a list indicating which reporters you’d like to meet one-on-one. Let’s proceed in order.”

Following the MC’s instructions, the four cast members left the main hall and headed to their private waiting rooms. Predictably, more reporters flocked to Morgan and the national soccer player, whose faces were already familiar to the public.

Morgan patiently answered each reporter’s nearly identical questions. A short while later, a junior staff member brought her a bottle of water, offering an apologetic smile.
