As the time they could spend together gradually dwindled away, Sunwoo and Green, regretting every single minute and second, eventually gave up on sleep.

While endlessly embracing and burrowing into each other’s arms, dawn broke before they knew it, and the floor-to-ceiling windows slowly grew brighter.

“Sunwoo, it looks like the sun is already rising.”

“Seems so.”

With a voice full of regret, Sunwoo tightly hugged Green, who was nestled in his arms. Then, wearing a languid, relaxed smile, he ceaselessly kissed her cheeks and lips.

Green gently stroked his hair. The feeling of his soft strands wrapping around her fingers was simply wonderful.

“What kind of place is Marseille, where you’re going, Sunwoo?”

“Hmm… It’s a port city in southern France. Maybe similar to Busan in our country? It’s the second-largest city after Paris.”

Sunwoo mumbled with his lips pressed against the nape of Green’s neck. Suddenly, Green, who had been caressing his hair, let out a soft chuckle.

“Now that I think about it, you seem more interested in places like Marseille or Chiang Mai than Paris or Bangkok, don’t you?”

At Green’s words, Sunwoo lifted his head and looked at her as if amazed she had figured it out.

“You’re right. I prefer places where there’s still room for change—where the Development Division can step in on top of basic infrastructure—over already perfect cities.”

“Oh, so that’s why you fell for me?”

Sunwoo momentarily didn’t understand Green’s words and frowned in confusion. Then her eyes sparkled mischievously.

“You said I was really bad at kissing, right? Didn’t you feel some kind of challenge like, ‘This woman has a lot of room for development!’?”
