Green, who had been staring at Sunwoo’s eyes as if enchanted through the lens, lowered the camera and looked at his face again. Sunwoo’s gaze as he smiled at Green was no different from usual.
‘That’s strange. Did I see it wrong?’
Green turned and followed Sunwoo, who was walking along the densely shaded path.
Sunwoo leisurely wandered around the garden like an idler before entering an empty pavilion and sitting down.
“This place is really nice. Come quickly.”
He closed his eyes, listened to the sound of the valley stream, and cooled off his sweat. From a distance, Green quickly captured Sunwoo’s figure on camera, then trotted over to him.
Hearing Green approach, Sunwoo opened his eyes, leaned against the railing, looked at her, and smiled. That sight was so beautiful again that Green kept pressing the shutter.
“Hey, stop taking pictures already?”
“Who was the one who first asked me to take photos?”
When Green chattered, Sunwoo smiled with an embarrassed expression. As Green climbed into the pavilion and put down the camera, Sunwoo swiftly pulled her into his arms from behind.
“I need some comfort right now.”
At Sunwoo’s somehow heartbroken expression, Green also became serious.
“What’s wrong?”
“I was proud that I had worked with the best master craftsmen to create truly amazing hanoks and gardens in Marseille. But coming here… no, it’s not like that at all.”
Sunwoo let out a big sigh, genuinely upset.
