Seeing Jenny sobbing uncontrollably, Green and Hanna also ended up tear-streaked. Of the three, Green was the first to pull herself together.

She handed tissues to her friends and wiped away her own tears, which kept flowing without pause.

“Stop crying. If you keep crying, you’ll get hungry.”

“I really did cry so much that I’m actually starving now. What do you guys want to eat?”

“Let’s start with spicy octopus and cold sliced pig’s feet. We’ll warm our stomachs with something spicy first, then finish with something cool and sweet. Okay?”

After quickly placing the food order, Hanna turned to Jenny.

“What are you going to do now?”

“I have to wrap up what I’ve started. I’ll go back to the jungle again, film the new movie I just joined, and even though I’ve left the variety show because of this incident, I’ll still shoot a few more ads.”

“Aren’t you pushing yourself too hard?”

“The CEO suffered big losses because of me. I want to compensate him somewhat, and then leave with Song Team Leader to start our own company.”

Jenny paused briefly, then lowered her head. Her already pale face flushed faintly pink.

“He said I was the brightest person in the world, right? If I keep shining just as brightly, maybe someday Morgan will finally be able to look at me without discomfort?”

“Of course! Definitely! Next time you meet, tell her lots about her mom. Morgan’s upset because she barely remembers her mother.”

Thanks to this new goal—to keep shining brightly for a long time—Jenny’s expression regained a bit of vitality.
