“Is there a lot of work left?”
With concealed thoughts, Sunwoo casually asked.
“No, I’ve finished everything. The rest can be handled tomorrow.”
Thinking Sunwoo might be tired from just returning from a business trip, Green hastily turned off the computer. She also lowered the studio lights that she had brightly turned on to show off.
Smiling brightly in the darkness after looking around the studio, Green said to Sunwoo, “It’s all done. You must be tired. Let’s go home now.”
However, Sunwoo’s eyes, gazing at Green in the darkness, weren’t smiling. He turned around and walked toward the entrance of the studio.

Following Sunwoo, Green, who was walking behind him, was suddenly surprised when he locked the door from the inside.
“Sunwoo, why did you lock the door…?”
Seemingly uncomfortable, Sunwoo roughly adjusted his tie with his hand, then stretched out his long legs, stepping closer to Green.
The boiling desire erupted like a volcano, and he forcefully pressed his lips against Green’s slender waist and nape.

Although he had lost control in front of her countless times before, there had never been a moment when he couldn’t restrain himself like now.
It seemed to be from the moment when his fragile-looking wife, who seemed like she would break with a little force, declared that she would take responsibility for him.
No, perhaps it was from before that, maybe when the bright yellow skirt formed a large circle, entwining around her slender legs.
Startled by Sunwoo’s sudden surge, it was Green who was taken aback.
“S-Sunwoo, wait… Uh!”
Green, who was trying to stop him, couldn’t continue speaking as Sunwoo invaded her with his hot breath.
When Sunwoo loved Green, he could be gentle, impatient, persistent. However, his instinctive and desperate desire for her, like a child digging into his mother’s embrace, was something new.
Exploring Green’s lips eagerly, Sunwoo suddenly hugged her. As she reached out and embraced his neck, Green naturally wrapped her legs around Sunwoo’s waist.
Sunwoo carried Green and sat on the large, plush single sofa. When he regained his senses, Green found herself sitting on Sunwoo’s lap, facing him.
The skirt had climbed up to her thighs unnoticed. Breathing heavily, Green stared at Sunwoo’s eyes, now burning with passion, as if enchanted by her boiling instincts.

With their bodies fully pressed against each other, even her broad chest rose and fell vigorously due to the intense breathing.
Green reached out and gently touched the corners of his eyes. Sunwoo, who was tightly closing his eyes at her touch, slowly swept up Green’s leg.
“Green.”
Breathing heavily, his eyes, tinged with intense desire, sought permission from her one last time.
With every place his fingertips touched feeling like it was sparking with flames, Green, trembling in the heat, eventually succumbed to Sunwoo’s low and husky voice.
“Green.”
A person who, apart from his longtime friend An Yong-gi, rarely let his guard down and was afraid to show his mistakes to others.
That Sunwoo finally called her ‘Green.’ Now, comfortable with her, as if to say it was okay to show his mistakes, even vulnerable moments, to her.
Exhaling a sigh mixed with despair, Green embraced Sunwoo’s neck tightly. When she saw him like this, it was truly unfair.
Kissing deeply as if extracting their souls, calling her own name in such a way, there was no way she could refuse him.

One hand held the car steering wheel, while the other firmly grasped Green’s hand. Despite driving, Sunwoo stared straight ahead.
Green, entranced, had entrusted her hand to him while lost in thought.
She was firmly enchanted. Without going crazy, she had firmly fallen under his spell. To do such things in the studio, not at home or in the bedroom!
It was still unbelievable to think that she had engaged in such a mischievous activity with Sunwoo in the place her grandfather had arranged for photo work. Was she really such a daring woman?
Deciding to move the sofa out of sight immediately tomorrow, she was determined. Every time she saw it, she would recall what she and Sunwoo had done on it.
Automatically, her cheeks flushed, and she lowered her head deeply. Then she felt Sunwoo’s hand, which was holding hers, tighten.
Quietly lifting her head, she looked at Sunwoo. The person who had been so passionate just a while ago seemed unbelievably indifferent now; Sunwoo’s expression was chillingly frozen.
The two arrived home and entered the master bedroom in an awkward atmosphere. When Sunwoo tried to unpack his travel bag, Green stopped him.
“Sunwoo, please freshen up first. I’ll take care of the bag after I finish washing.”
Letting go of the bag, Sunwoo stared at her with a gaze that made her heart tremble. Feeling too shaky to face him, Green turned to leave the room.
At that moment, Sunwoo grabbed Green’s shoulder and pulled her tightly from behind. Then, leaning down, he whispered softly.

“Have you fallen for me now?”
“Why would I fall for you, Sunwoo?”
“Because of how I hugged you earlier.”
In the self-blaming tone, Green slowly turned to face him. She was confused whether this person genuinely didn’t know or was pretending not to know.
In the intoxication of endless pleasure, did the extremely seductive sounds that flowed from my lips go unheard? Did he forget everything I desperately clung to and begged him to stop?
Surprisingly, Sunwoo’s eyes contained sincere concern. Concern that he might be hated by Green.
She silently embraced Sunwoo’s waist. It was a bit shocking, but that was just her surprise at her bold actions; every moment spent with him was so enchanting that it was beyond belief.
“I enjoyed it. Sunwoo, for hugging me.”
“…”
After a moment of stiffness, Sunwoo, releasing a deep sigh of relief, embraced her facing each other.

Slowly, Sunwoo, who had been caressing Green’s back and head, kissed her cheek and ear. Then, leaning down to her ear, he whispered softly.
“Shall we shower together?”
When male lead is the homewrecker
“I know she doesn’t love him.”
I’ve read the novel below twice already. Girls, I’m highly recommending it to you!
The female lead? Not a good person.
The second male lead? Not a good person.
The male lead? Willingly plays the third party, breaking up the female and second male lead’s relationship despite all the warnings from his friends—so yeah, he’s definitely not a good person either.
Basically, nobody in this novel is simple-minded or without scheming.
The female lead starts off as the male lead’s secretary, but don’t worry—later on, she takes over the company while the male lead steps back to support her. He won’t steal her spotlight, overshadow her, or dull her shine.
I love novels where men are out here snatching wigs, tearing each other down, and going to war just to win the female lead’s affection. And this is exactly that kind of novel. Most of Hai Dai Ran’s works have this dynamic. You’ll see the male characters’ emotions being pushed to the absolute extreme.
There’s even a scene where the second male lead exposes the male lead online for being a homewrecker. The brotherhood immediately gangs up on him, dragging him through the mud. I find it compelling —it completely flips reality on its head, where usually, women are the ones fighting over a man and getting torn apart by the sisterhood.
For me, female leads in the novels I read should only struggle in their careers, not in love. But if the brainless romantics in the story are all men? I have zero complaints.
I’ve pretty much read all of Hai Dai Ran’s novels and even translated all of them—her works are just my thing. I’ll slowly upload everything here. One day, when my website is official, I hope I can invite her to join as one of the star authors.
