Seeing Green relax at his softer expression, she sat next to him. Seonwoo then pulled out a small box from his pocket.
“There’s something else I want to give you.”
Opening the unmistakably ring-sized box, a brilliant diamond ring gleamed, declaring itself as the wedding ring.
“Oh my, Seonwoo!”
“We had such an unusual wedding, I realized I never gave you a wedding ring. Thank you for accepting me as your husband.”
Bashfully, Seonwoo slipped the ring on Green’s right hand. He wore a similar ring too.
Green examined the thick diamond snugly sitting on her finger. What was just an ordinary hand seemed instantly noble – she understood why everyone raved about diamonds.
“Seonwoo, I actually have a wedding ring from my mother.”
“That’s one thing, but this one I gave you is the real wedding ring. Don’t mix them up.”
“How could I? This one’s much bigger! Is this 1 carat?”

“3 carats. I was thinking of 5 carats, but they said most choose this size for wedding rings. Should I have chosen the bigger one?”
Green’s jaw dropped.
This man, seemingly sensible, must get conned everywhere he goes! Fooled by Hanna and now this!
“Who chooses this often? 3 carats is every bride’s dream – that means it’s rare! Did you just buy it because the salesperson suggested it?”
Watching Green jump from admiring the ring to being flustered on hearing it’s 3 carats, Seonwoo struggled to suppress his laughter.
Concealing his amusement, Seonwoo asked awkwardly.
“Is it too much?”
“Of course. It’s so heavy, how can I wear it around?”
“Thought so. That’s why I prepared another one.”
Seonwoo, with a relaxed smile, took out another box from his pocket.
“This one is smaller, much more comfortable to wear daily.”

He gently took Green’s left hand and slid another ring onto her finger. Compared to the 3-carat one, this platinum ring with half a carat seemed almost like a cute couple ring.
“Well, I can wear this every day.”
“Right? Wear this normally, and for occasions where you want to emphasize ‘I have a husband,’ wear the other one. I’ll do the same.”
Saying this, Seonwoo handed her one ring and extended his own left hand.
Green, though shy, slipped the ring onto Seonwoo’s finger. Their fingers intertwined, both wearing matching rings, it felt like they were truly a couple now.
“How’s your mother-in-law?”
“She’s the same.”
“And Jennie and Hanna?”
“They’re fine. They became fans of yours after last time.”
Seonwoo smiled pleasantly, not expecting to feel so good hearing his wife’s friends thought well of him.

“Jennie is really a top star. It was tough to coordinate schedules.”
“Really? Did it work out?”
“Yes. I got final confirmation from her agency this afternoon.”
Green was genuinely happy, a good thing for both her close friend and Seonwoo.
“What did you three talk about today?”
“Just things. Shared worries and advice.”
“Can’t you share those things with me too?”
His cautious tone reminded Green of what her friends said earlier.
“Green! Ask your husband directly about what you asked us today. He’ll answer you clearly.”
Should she be completely honest? That she’s not as experienced as she pretended to be this morning, and that she’s worried he might be disappointed…

Just thinking about it made her cheeks burn red. Seonwoo, amused, caressed her cheek.
“What are you thinking about, Green?”
He suddenly kissed her lips.
“Sometimes, I’m dying to know what’s going on in your head.”
Blinded by the sudden kiss, Green blurted out without thinking.
“You don’t believe what I said in front of our fathers this morning, do you? That I slept around with various men, and had several one-night stands when I was younger?”
Seonwoo, struggling not to laugh at her unexpected confession, asked with a slightly twisted lip.
“Is that not true? All of it?”
Green hesitated. Her first thought was ‘Is he disappointed?’ Embarrassed, she quickly added,
“Well, I mean, I haven’t had one-night stands, but I do have some experience in dating. Really.”

“Is that so?”
Trying to make him less disappointed, she found Seonwoo’s gaze chillingly cold.
‘Is that not right?’
My Arch-enemy Sealed My Memory and Said That He is My Husband
This is an incredibly captivating story that you absolutely shouldn’t miss! I’ll give a brief introduction here, and below you’ll find a detailed synopsis of the plot.
The female lead is a fierce and powerful demon king. The male lead is a once-in-a-millennium celestial lord, admired by the entire cultivation world.
They are equally matched, legendary rivals who have battled for centuries.
In the final duel, the female lead is gravely injured. The male lead saves her, seals her memories, and hides her true identity. He tells her that he is her fiancé. His entire life has been flawless—except for the one thing he never expected, never controlled, and never wanted to control: falling for his greatest enemy. She is his inner demon, his obsession.
When the female lead regains her memories, she is furious at his deception.
She makes his life a living hell.
And somehow, the male lead—possibly a total masochist—doesn’t mind at all. In fact, he’s happy she’s paying attention to him.
Yep, we’re back to my favorite trope: male lead suffering. If you love this kind of story, jump into the pit with me now!!!
Intro
Dong Xia lost her memory.
Her handsome and extremely powerful fiancé Li Qing comforted her: “It’s okay if you can’t remember. I’ll always be with you.”
Everyone thought Dong Xia’s ancestors must have burned incense to get such a perfect fiancé. He was the number one person in the immortal realm, yet he remained chaste and only loved her.
…
The day before marrying her fiancé, Dong Xia finally remembered everything.
She wasn’t suffering from memory loss at all.
Her arch-enemy had made her fake her death, destroyed her cultivation, replaced her memories, and pretended to be her deeply in love fiancé.
No wonder he said, “It’s okay if you can’t remember”!
Dong Xia laughed coldly as she pulled out her long knife: Li Qing, prepare to die 🙂
*
Li Qing, as the supreme being of the immortal realm, was the people’s shining beacon.
The only unknown stain in his life was his affection for Dong Xia, the ruler of the demon realm.
In the final battle of the war between immortals and demons, the sky collapsed and the earth shattered. The ruler of the demon realm was finally slain under the sword of the supreme being of the immortal realm, and everyone in the immortal realm applauded.
The cultivation world lost a ruler of the demon realm.
And in the back mountain of Li Qing’s cave dwelling, he secretly hid away a fiancée.
Notes:
1. The female lead is white on the outside, black on the inside, and the queen of flattery; the male lead repeatedly tests the edge of darkness, a VIP guest at the crematorium.
2. Fantasy cultivation world setting.
