Fearing Jin Youngcheol might change his mind, Han Muntaek quickly got into the passenger seat. After parking underground, Jin Youngcheol took out his card key and opened the inside door.
Han Muntaek felt frustrated for wasting an hour on a door that could be opened so easily.
Sensing his agitation, Jin Youngcheol entered without ringing the bell, using the card key instead, knowing Seonwoo would disapprove but preferring to watch Han Muntaek squirm.
But even though it was almost 7 am, the house was eerily quiet.
“What is she doing? Not even preparing her husband for work? Is she going to mess around at the last minute?”
Jin Youngcheol grumbled about everything he disliked as if it was Green’s fault.
Glancing at him, Han Muntaek began to inspect the kitchen.
“What the heck is this!”
“What’s all the fuss about?”
Following Han Muntaek into the kitchen, Jin Youngcheol was also rendered speechless by the scene before him.
On the dining table lay an empty whiskey bottle, two glasses, and an ice bucket with completely melted ice. Dried-up salad and dried snacks rolled around on a plate, and dining chairs were sprawled all over the floor.
More telling was a man’s robe, undoubtedly Seonwoo’s, lying in front of the table, and what appeared to be Green’s dress nightgown sprawled in front of the large refrigerator.
Jin Youngcheol and Han Muntaek, who had seen it all before, could visualize last night’s events in this kitchen without even seeing them.
“Those damn kids!”
An infuriated Jin Youngcheol strode towards the master bedroom, but Han Muntaek quickly intercepted him.
What if they were still in an embarrassing state? Green would definitely not want her father-in-law to see her like that.
“What now? Move out of the way!”
“I’ll check, let me go inside.”
After calming Jin Youngcheol, Han Muntaek hurriedly knocked on the master bedroom door.
“Green, Jin Seonwoo! Are you there? Green!”
No response came from inside.
Impatient Jin Youngcheol tried to open the master bedroom door himself, but Han Muntaek physically blocked him and slightly opened the bedroom door.

Facing the worst possible scenario, Han Muntaek closed his eyes tightly.
‘Foolish girl. Despite everything I said, she ended up with Jin Seonwoo!’
At that moment, Jin Youngcheol and Han Muntaek locked eyes and instinctively realized their awkward alliance was over. Now, it was war!
“Seonwoo, wake up. What’s all this noise?”
Roused from a deep sleep for the first time in a long while, Green frowned, annoyed by the voices of the two men she least wanted to hear.
Thinking it was a nightmare, she was startled to find the noises growing louder. Fully awake now, Green sat up abruptly.
“Umm, what noise?”
Still drowsy, Seonwoo instinctively reached out and pulled Green’s waist towards him. Falling into his embrace, Green slapped his arms frantically.
“Seonwoo, I think our fathers are here!”
“What?”
Seonwoo sat up quickly and looked around. On the floor lay only his pants, hastily discarded the night before.
As he tried to step into one pant leg, the room door opened a crack. Green, clutching the blanket, looked pale with fear.
Not wanting to show his parents this scene, Seonwoo leaped to close and lock the door.
“I’m here. Please wait a moment.”
More bewildered than Seonwoo was Green. While Seonwoo had at least his pants, her nightgown had been tossed away by Seonwoo in the kitchen, leaving her with only her underwear found under the blanket.

I’ve read the novel below twice already. Girls, I’m highly recommending it to you!
The female lead? Not a good person.
The second male lead? Not a good person.
The male lead? Willingly plays the third party, breaking up the female and second male lead’s relationship despite all the warnings from his friends—so yeah, he’s definitely not a good person either.
Basically, nobody in this novel is simple-minded or without scheming.
The female lead starts off as the male lead’s secretary, but don’t worry—later on, she takes over the company while the male lead steps back to support her. He won’t steal her spotlight, overshadow her, or dull her shine.
I love novels where men are out here snatching wigs, tearing each other down, and going to war just to win the female lead’s affection. And this is exactly that kind of novel. Most of Hai Dai Ran’s works have this dynamic. You’ll see the male characters’ emotions being pushed to the absolute extreme.
There’s even a scene where the second male lead exposes the male lead online for being a homewrecker. The brotherhood immediately gangs up on him, dragging him through the mud. I find it compelling —it completely flips reality on its head, where usually, women are the ones fighting over a man and getting torn apart by the sisterhood.
For me, female leads in the novels I read should only struggle in their careers, not in love. But if the brainless romantics in the story are all men? I have zero complaints.
