Moring clapped her hands and guided Orentia to a seat inside.

“Of course! With that rabbit doll and the dress you’re wearing right now—I need to sketch it too.”

She felt a bit guilty since the doll wasn’t really the main point, but there was nothing she could do. Moring, as his former lover, surely knew Ankedo best.

If she was staying silent despite knowing he was an embezzler, was she being blackmailed by Ankedo? Or was she protecting him simply because he was her ex?

Orentia was extremely curious about what exactly Moring was thinking.

Orentia sat down, adjusted her dress, and drank the tea Moring offered. Its rich, soothing flavor was perfect for calming her nerves.

“You have something to say to me?”

As Moring began sketching, Orentia took a moment to steady her breath. Starting this conversation wouldn’t be easy.

Yet, just thinking about the prophetic dreams involving her filled her with overwhelming anxiety.

Finally, Orentia steeled her resolve and spoke.

“You know where Ankedo hid the embezzled money, don’t you?”

At that moment, shock flashed across Moring’s face. She dropped the sketching paper and breathed heavily for a long while.

“I—I don’t understand what you’re talking about.”

Moring picked up the paper again, pretending nothing had happened, but Orentia had clearly seen how shaken she was.

Orentia tried hard to meet Moring’s evasive gaze and spoke again.
