As she emerged from the deep forest, Ollentia’s hair whipped wildly in the spring breeze. It was as if she had visited another world, so different were the forest and the outside.

Grateful for the black cloak, Ollentia spoke to Dimitrius,

“I’ll be staying in a cottage just ahead. I’ll go there now.”

Suddenly, a strong wind blew, almost flipping her thin dress. She couldn’t afford such an embarrassment in front of Dimitrius.

Hearing Ollentia’s words, Dimitrius frowned and spoke up,

“You mean that cottage right in front of the daisy field? The one with transparent walls?”

“Ah, yes, that’s right. Most of the living room is made of glass.”

Dimitrius approached the cottage as if enchanted, with Ollentia following him curiously.

“You don’t need to escort me.”

To Ollentia’s cheerful words, Dimitrius turned to her and let out a short sigh.

“Sigh… I thought it was a bad idea when I heard about it. Why are you staying in such a place? You’re a niece of Count Orodor.”

‘What news did he hear?’

His posture suggested irritation. Though his expression was hidden by the mask, it seemed he was frowning.

Ollentia responded with a puzzled look,

“Well, because a more important guest arrived at Count Orodor’s place before me.”

“……”

“And this forest, including the surrounding daisy field, is all a protected area. No one can enter. You’re the unusual one, Your Excellency.”

Surely, he must have sneaked in using his demonic powers.

Just like when he transmitted his voice into her head. Like when he subdued the masked man.

The more she thought about it, the more eerie it felt meeting Dimitrius in the middle of the night. Honestly, it made her skin crawl.
Feeling her fingertips grow cold, Ollentia spoke to Dimitrius one last time before entering the cottage.

“I won’t say a word to my uncle about this. So, I would appreciate it if you don’t mention that I saw the light of the Illusion Flower.”

Standing amidst the swaying, straight-stemmed flowers in the forest, Ollentia looked as pure as a single bloom. Her long hair flowed down to her waist, she was clad in a thin white dress, and wore brown slippers made of kid leather.

She seemed to absorb all the moonlight, shimmering brilliantly.

If Ollentia saw the light from the Illusion Flower, then Dimitrius felt like he had seen light emanating from her.

Even after returning to the mansion, the image of her lingered in his mind for a long time.

But the truth was, Dimitrius thought of Ollentia for another important reason – her abilities.

Dimitrius, rubbing his chin under the mask, murmured to himself,

“If the white light coming from the Illusion Flower is indeed a strong wave of divine power, then she can see it too?”

It meant, indeed, that Ollentia was someone who could handle divine power – fitting for a member of the Apricot Tree family, the Armeniaca.

Dimitrius recalled the time, five years ago, when he first unleashed his demonic power and was unable to halt his transformation with just holy artifacts.

Back then, he roared like a beast, anxious that he might become a demon.

“Bring it to me now. Bring me something proper!”

With his eyes entirely red, Dimitrius’s body was almost bursting with swelling energy. His back writhed as if demonic wings were about to sprout, and the ominous aura was so strong that even the trained knights of the Belial Order couldn’t approach him.

He growled like a beast, feeling the pain.

Feeling the demonic power and hearing the demonic voice, Dimitrius felt like he became someone else.

Even using holy artifacts, which were the opposite of demonic power, couldn’t calm his transformation. This was especially since he had used demonic power for the first time during the recent siege of the grand castle.

Dimitrius sensed within himself a black desire to accept this power, filling him to the brim. It was incredibly tempting. He felt like his mind might turn at any moment.

‘What if I just become a demon? Then I could be stronger.’

Thoughts like that.

Cold Male Lead Became My Clingy Husband (Female-Dominant)

Feng Bai Su transmigrated into a matriarchal novel, becoming the sister of the female protagonist and the Seventh Princess of the Feng Ling Kingdom.

After working herself to death in her previous life, finally reincarnating as a princess, she only wanted to be a lazy fish who could eat, sleep, and play.

Until she met the male protagonist from the book, Wei Jing Mo, and he took a liking to her!

Wei Jing Mo is the top young man in Feng Ling City, talented in both appearance and ability, from a prestigious family, with a cold and otherworldly appearance, a figure like the bright moon in the hearts of noble ladies. It was thought that only the most powerful and talented noble lady in Feng Ling City would be worthy of such a brilliant young man. Who knew that this young gentleman would secretly admire the infamous Seventh Princess?

Short scene 1:

Feng Bai Su looked at the young man crying like a pear blossom in the rain before her, and couldn’t help but doubt her life.

Wasn’t the male lead described as a cold and otherworldly figure in the book?

Then who was this poor little thing crying with swollen red eyes and tear-stained face?

Short scene 2:

Wei Jing Mo stared intently at Feng Bai Su who was about to go out, wanting to say, “Be careful on the road.”

Before he could speak, Feng Bai Su suddenly bent down and bit his cheek.

Her peach blossom eyes were full of disdain: “Tsk! You’re so clingy!”

Wei Jing Mo: “…”

A talented fox spirit female lead with a flirtatious appearance but actually abstinent VS A cold-looking but actually naive and clingy little jealous male lead
