Suddenly, Ra Jin’s field of vision was blocked by a dark shadow. After blinking a few times, she saw the broad back of a man.

“I’ll go in first.”

Ho Jin, who had silently approached, now stood beside Ji Ho, firmly blocking the driver’s seat like an impenetrable wall. Neither of them moved an inch, ensuring no one returning from the company dinner could see Ra Jin.

“Officer, shall we take a taxi together?”

“I left my car near the office, so I’ll head off first.”

As the employees scattered in small groups, the two only kept repeating, “Please go home safely.” Finally, when everyone had gone their separate ways, Ho Jin turned around at last.

“I came to pick you up because I missed you.”
