In a room filled with dozens of cast members, the lingering emotion Ra Jin had been carrying so tenderly was abruptly severed.

No matter how loyal her manager might be to Oh Jong Hyuk, it was utterly disrespectful to show such blatant disregard for the actress he was supposed to be handling. Ra Jin’s face instantly twisted in dismay.

Stunned by her fellow cast members’ irritated glances and her manager’s rudeness—shoving his phone at her without warning—Ra Jin was speechless.

“What are you doing? Right now.”

“There have been multiple calls from the U.S.”

“Don’t disturb me—just leave. Quickly.”

Even as she snapped out the quiet rebuke, Ra Jin checked the reactions around her. She knew clearly it was a serious mistake to interrupt another actor’s flow.

“But still… sigh. Can’t you just take the call for a sec—”

Unable to contain his anxiety at Ra Jin’s firm refusal, the manager turned pleadingly toward the director. Seeing him rub his hands together like he was begging, the director reluctantly interjected.

“Let’s take a short break, everyone. Maybe grab a coffee or something.”

A veteran actress clicked her tongue in annoyance; a female supporting actress let out an obvious sigh; the male lead asked the manager about the next schedule. Ra Jin felt as if she were sitting on pins and needles due to her manager’s boundary-crossing behavior.

“I’m so sorry. I’m really sorry.”

She’d worked so hard to act professionally during work hours, yet here she was, getting dirty looks over something utterly absurd. Desperate to fix the situation, Ra Jin kept bowing her head repeatedly.

“Ma’am, shall I connect the call now?”

“Hyung Sik. Seriously.”
