Ra Jin’s vision was pitch black. This was her first time in such a situation, and her fingertips trembled uncontrollably at the thought of Ji Ho being discovered hiding in the bathroom.

But she couldn’t keep Oh Jong Hyuk—whose patience was as thin as paper—standing in the hallway any longer.

Ra Jin wrapped her hair tightly in the towel Ji Ho had handed her, dampened her bangs with bottled water, then hurried toward the door, deliberately mussing her clothes as if she’d just thrown them on in a hurry.

‘Ugh, I look like a mess.’

The moment the door clicked open, Oh Jong Hyuk stood there, eyes wide.

“Where’s Tae Hyung Shik? Coming here alone?”

Of all the things to say after barging in unannounced—it was just about Tae Hyung Shik. She nearly scoffed at being treated like an idiot who couldn’t go anywhere without a manager. The truth was, aside from the inconvenience of being recognized, there wasn’t a single place Ra Jin couldn’t go.

“I drove here myself.”

“Are you out of your mind? What if you get into an accident?”

“It’s only a fifteen-minute drive—what kind of accident could happen?”

“For someone whose license is just gathering dust in the closet, you sure lack fear.”

“If you’re just going to nag, then leave.”

Not even wanting to meet his eyes, Ra Jin turned her back to him.

“You said you worked out, yet you ordered room service? Is this how you’re planning to take care of yourself?”
