After sending Ailey in first and sending Boseogi up the tree, Delina waited for Noah and Rivanpel to come closer. The corners of Noah’s mouth turned up upon seeing Delina.
“I never imagined I’d be greeted by Lady Floren at the Rozlip Marquisate.”
“Well, if you want, I can even roll out a red carpet for you.”
As they exchanged light banter, everyone entered the mansion, leaving only Delina, Noah, and Rivanpel outside. Delina raised the corners of her mouth and said,
“Now, before we go in, don’t you have something for me?”
At Delina’s suggestive words, Rivanpel first pulled something out of his pocket. Surprised, Delina’s eyes widened.
“You have something for me too?”
Delina had asked Noah for a favor. But at Rivanpel’s unexpected action, she instinctively took it. Upon closer inspection, it was a piece of cloth the size of a handkerchief.
“What’s this?”
“A birthday gift.”
“A birthday gift?”
Delina was surprised that a kid who only cared about experiments remembered her birthday. But her eyes narrowed at the gift, whose purpose she couldn’t guess.
