Captured into the Bedroom of the Enemy Emperor (1 Chapters Left to Complete) - Chapter 93
At Carolina’s question, Julia tilted her head and picked up a Madeleine. After eating it slowly, as if savoring every bite, she wiped the corner of her mouth with a silk handkerchief.
‘Right, if it’s a disappearance, they might not have found the body yet. Yes, since Empress Pamila supposedly returned determined to watch until the very end, they must have handled everything perfectly, hehe.’
“It’s been several days since I last saw Her Majesty the Empress. I gave her a wedding gift—a fan I made myself—and she seemed quite pleased with it.”
Carolina was puzzled, as Julia didn’t appear seriously injured contrary to what Lord Bern had reported. This was precisely why one couldn’t make any judgment without verifying the facts firsthand. Moreover, Julia’s expression changed like switching masks within just a few minutes of sitting face to face.
“You came all the way here just to give a fan as a wedding gift? Is that really all?”
“What else would there be? Go on, drink your tea before it gets cold.”
Carolina hadn’t taken even a single sip of the tea the maid had brought into the study, nor had she touched the tea sitting before her now. It wasn’t that she suspected poison—rather, she wanted to show clearly that she no longer trusted Julia.
“Julia, what about the next day? Didn’t you see Her Majesty?”
“Hmm, I had no reason to meet her.”
“Where had you gone that day—the day of the carriage accident?”
“I went to Aldis Couture.”
“Julia.”
Carolina called her name in a low voice, carefully keeping all emotion out of her tone.
‘Don’t disappoint me anymore.’
“They say you met Her Majesty that day at Secret Lady’s shop. Sales records show you made a purchase there.”

An Indifferent Woman is the One Men Desire the Most
One-line summary: The female lead is actually cold-hearted and extremely rational. She has stage-by-stage relationships and won’t two-time, but there will always be someone who secretly likes her.
This novel has the following triggers, so if you’re sensitive to these, please don’t read:
1. The female lead has had many relationships, but she treated each one seriously and broke up properly.
It’s just that the men unilaterally pestered her incessantly. For the female lead, when she doesn’t like someone anymore, she simply doesn’t like them.
(This applies to her relationships with Male Lead 1, 2, 3, and 4 as well, but she’s loyal in each 1-on-1 relationship!)
2. In this novel, Male Lead 2 and the female lead kiss in a car, and Male Lead 1 sees it and beats up Male Lead 2.
The female lead calls the police and sends both Male Lead 1 and 2 to the police station! Male Lead 1 begs the female lead not to break up with him.
3. Male Lead 1 has a gentle appearance but an obsessive personality.
Male Lead 2 has a delicate and soft appearance, slightly green tea-like (two-faced).
Male Lead 3 is a youthful college student and a smart person who has secretly liked the female lead for a long time.
Male Lead 4 is the female lead’s father’s special assistant, a business elite with deep, hidden thoughts.
4. At the beginning of this novel, the female lead has already broken up with Male Lead 1 (Chapter 4) and gotten back together with Male Lead 2 (ex-boyfriend).
5. Enter with caution if you have triggers!!!

Just when I thought Julia has fallen so low, she never fails cease to amaze how she can fall even lower.
