Captured into the Bedroom of the Enemy Emperor (1 Chapters Left to Complete) - Chapter 45
The wedding carriage halted before the eastern stairs of Karsik Palace, the entrance to Helios Hall.
Along the entire outer palace wall, enormous banners of Tane and the Karsik Imperial flags were displayed side by side.
The Honor Guard knights lined up on the stairs unfurled a white silk carpet from the hall’s entrance. Once both sides had neatly arranged the carpet cascading down the steps, a pristine white bridal aisle stretched right up to the carriage.
Kalip and Lari approached the carriage. Lari skillfully coiled up the train and held it tightly.
Har Chen stepped down from the carriage. With Har Chen’s support, Patricia, her face clearly tense, alighted from the carriage.
Upon seeing the beautiful bride, the assembled guests cheered joyfully and waved the bundles of forsythia flowers they held. These golden forsythia bouquets, identical to the bride’s own, had been distributed to the guests at the palace entrance.
As the imperial couple, clad in pure white wedding attire, stood upon the white silk bridal path, the Honor Guard orchestra began playing a solemn wedding march.
Har Chen took Patricia’s hand and ascended the stairs.
White flower petals rained down from the eastern spire onto the imperial couple as they climbed the stairs. Simultaneously, hundreds of white eagles took flight toward the sky.
Har Chen, symbolizing the blazing golden sun of the empire, bore an eagle embroidered in golden thread upon the back of his ceremonial robe.
After reaching the top of the stairs, Har Chen and Patricia turned around. They bowed together toward the thousands of imperial citizens gathered behind the lined-up security battalion, filling the air with thunderous cheers.
Patricia suddenly realized this was the precise moment she became the empire’s empress. She was frightened, yet there was no turning back. She tightened her grip on the arm she held within the emperor’s.
It was the wedding of the century, praying for peace and prosperity between the two great empires of the Arkhan continent.
Dozens of flower girls walked up the stairs, scattering petals as they went. They entered Helios Hall, where enormous three-tiered candelabras, each bearing seven lit candles, stood densely arrayed.
Patricia looked toward the family seating area and saw Empress Dowager Karsik, Emperor Kazan of Tane, and Empress Pamila. Emperor Kazan looked unwell; he kept dabbing his forehead and nape with a handkerchief.

My Ex-Girlfriend Is The Regent In The Female-dominant World (Male lead transmigrates to the matriarchal world)
Two years ago, Gu Sui picked up a homeless woman in ancient costume from the street.
Apart from occasionally claiming to be a princess from a female-dominant country due to illness, her figure, appearance, intelligence, and martial arts skills were impeccable.
Naturally evolving from roommates to girlfriends, as time went on, Gu Sui found it increasingly difficult to tolerate her queen syndrome.
“Mu Jiulu, can you stop controlling me inside and out? Let’s break up.”
Gu Sui made a breakup call, and since then, he couldn’t find any trace of her.
A year later, Gu Sui, who was planning to move, woke up the next day and found himself in a different place.
“Young Master, today is the day you choose your Wife-master through martial arts competition at Jade Dew Pavilion. Please get up quickly.”
Gu Sui: Who am I? Where am I? What am I doing?
As the only son of a general’s mansion in a female-dominant dynasty, the young empress personally issued a decree allowing Gu Sui to select his Wife-master through martial arts competition. Whoever could defeat him could marry him.
Gu Sui: “……”
He didn’t inherit the original owner’s martial prowess, so anyone could defeat him! And what the hell is a Wife-master?
Forced to come to Jade Dew Pavilion, the densely packed women below made Gu Sui’s agoraphobia act up, and his face was full of resistance.
Until he saw the Regent sitting on the second floor, with a smile on the corner of her lips, her eyes wicked and nonchalant.
Hmm… she looked a little familiar.
It turned out that the Regent also found him a little familiar.
Mu Jiulu fiddled with her bone clasp, her deep gaze locked on the man who was out of place in this world.
“Finally, I found you.”

Oh! Harcen made a surf board and have Patricia surfing at the sea? That’s so nice of him! If I were her, I too would be thrilled as I riding the waves.
Could it be the grave with the red hibiscus is the late Empress’ (a.k.a Patricia and Patrick’s mom) grave? Talk about cutting onion.
Oh Dear. This must be before Patricia have her memory regressed from the poison’s side effect on the summary and only recognized Harchen from their academy days. This is so awful.
