Captured into the Bedroom of the Enemy Emperor (1 Chapters Left to Complete) - Chapter 34
Patricia, entering the emperor’s salon with Anna under the chamberlain’s guidance, stopped in her tracks. Simultaneously, her cheeks flushed pink.
The emperor, standing on the circular dais before a large mirror, turned around upon seeing Patricia reflected behind him. He wore no upper garment—only snug white ceremonial trousers clung to his body.
His broad, straight spine and the sharply defined pectoral muscles visible in the mirror came into view at once. Patricia didn’t know where to look. The emperor calmly turned his body fully and watched her approach.
It was already awkward to greet him without his shirt on, yet meeting his gaze and then looking away felt even more uncomfortable, so Patricia bit her lower lip and steadied her quickened breathing.
“I greet Your Imperial Majesty.”
She offered her greeting softly, her lips trembling slightly.
“So you’ve come, Princess.”
He was the one wearing trousers stretched tightly to the point of bursting—why was she the one breathless from just looking?
The emperor hooked his thumbs into the waistband of his trousers. Patricia unintentionally glanced at his four long fingers.
She remembered Countess Schmidt’s words about exchanging glances, using voice, ears, and hands with utmost seriousness, and bit her lip again.
Fortunately, the spacious salon was filled with several groups of people, all absorbed in their respective tasks. Murmurs rose from the clusters gathered together.
Near the circular dais, Empress Dowager and Isabella sat on a sofa, surrounded by maids. Patricia bowed respectfully to both.
“Your Highness, you’ve arrived.”
As Isabella rose from the sofa to offer her seat, Madam Terra seized Patricia’s hand, saying she hadn’t a moment to spare.
A group who appeared to be Madam Terra’s assistants removed the ceremonial attire from a mannequin near the fitting room and handed it to her.

Oh! Harcen made a surf board and have Patricia surfing at the sea? That’s so nice of him! If I were her, I too would be thrilled as I riding the waves.
Could it be the grave with the red hibiscus is the late Empress’ (a.k.a Patricia and Patrick’s mom) grave? Talk about cutting onion.
Oh Dear. This must be before Patricia have her memory regressed from the poison’s side effect on the summary and only recognized Harchen from their academy days. This is so awful.
