Captured into the Bedroom of the Enemy Emperor (1 Chapters Left to Complete) - Chapter 25
Your Majesty, I am desperate. So I must win this. Patricia could not bring herself to say it out loud. She was the one who had turned the southern part of this empire into a battlefield.
Har Chen spun the pewter cup round and round using his wrist. Patricia, who had been biting her lower lip, lifted the cup, took a short sip, and then bit her lower lip again.
The princess’s bad habit……
Har Chen stretched out his crossed legs, leaned back against the sofa, and sat with his legs apart. He placed his gauze-wrapped left hand on the armrest and rubbed his lips with his fingertips.
Haa……. I suppose I should correct this dangerous habit.
“By the way, Princess, why did you bring that bed from Tane?”
“Yes? Ah, it’s not a bed, but something like a mat spread on a bed made of palm wood. They believe palm wood induces longevity and good dreams. The people of Tane, who value sleep and dreams highly, receive a blessing from Amir when leaving home. I don’t believe in such things, but my nanny insisted.”
She speaks at length, doesn’t she? Har Chen looked at the princess’s face as she answered and smiled, lifting his lips.
Surprised, then calm, then serious, then embarrassed. The way her expressions changed was quite… cute.
“It’s not a bed, but a bed sheet made of wooden planks.”
“Yes, that’s right.”
“It must be hard.”
“Yes. It’s hard.”
“A bed should… have some give to it, shouldn’t it? Don’t you think?”
“Yes, th-that’s right.”

Cold Male Lead Became My Clingy Husband (Female-Dominant)
Feng Bai Su transmigrated into a matriarchal novel, becoming the sister of the female protagonist and the Seventh Princess of the Feng Ling Kingdom.
After working herself to death in her previous life, finally reincarnating as a princess, she only wanted to be a lazy fish who could eat, sleep, and play.
Until she met the male protagonist from the book, Wei Jing Mo, and he took a liking to her!
Wei Jing Mo is the top young man in Feng Ling City, talented in both appearance and ability, from a prestigious family, with a cold and otherworldly appearance, a figure like the bright moon in the hearts of noble ladies. It was thought that only the most powerful and talented noble lady in Feng Ling City would be worthy of such a brilliant young man. Who knew that this young gentleman would secretly admire the infamous Seventh Princess?
Short scene 1:
Feng Bai Su looked at the young man crying like a pear blossom in the rain before her, and couldn’t help but doubt her life.
Wasn’t the male lead described as a cold and otherworldly figure in the book?
Then who was this poor little thing crying with swollen red eyes and tear-stained face?
Short scene 2:
Wei Jing Mo stared intently at Feng Bai Su who was about to go out, wanting to say, “Be careful on the road.”
Before he could speak, Feng Bai Su suddenly bent down and bit his cheek.
Her peach blossom eyes were full of disdain: “Tsk! You’re so clingy!”
Wei Jing Mo: “…”
A talented fox spirit female lead with a flirtatious appearance but actually abstinent VS A cold-looking but actually naive and clingy little jealous male lead

Re-reading this chapter, it made realize how little Patricia regarding her life compared to Patrick, all because of her guilt over her twin’s sickness which she assumed caused by her taking away his nutrition during pregnancy (in my opinion, it’s an entirely absurd superstition and baseless theory at best). Glad Patricia has come far by started relying in Harchen until she can trust him and vice versa.
Oh! Harcen made a surf board and have Patricia surfing at the sea? That’s so nice of him! If I were her, I too would be thrilled as I riding the waves.
Could it be the grave with the red hibiscus is the late Empress’ (a.k.a Patricia and Patrick’s mom) grave? Talk about cutting onion.
