Before Asti stood Hades.

Hades said nothing, but the sharp killing intent radiating from him froze Asti in place, leaving her only able to whimper.

When Luhan called out to her from behind, she finally dashed toward him, clinging tightly to his pant leg and hiding behind him.

Luhan gently patted Asti’s head, soothing her softly.

“Asti, you mustn’t run around the palace like that. Since you were the one who bumped into him first, apologize properly to Hades as a junior should.”

Asti turned her head slightly toward Hades.

But at Hades’s sharp gaze, she grew frightened again and burrowed into Luhan’s arms.

Luhan offered a slight smile as he apologized to Hades. But Hades remained silent, simply gazing at Asti before kneeling down as if to meet the eyes of the small girl.
