Above the desert expanse blanketed in a riot of crimson blossoms stretched an endless cloudless blue sky.

The heat haze, infused with the scent of warm sand, carried sweet floral fragrance that gently warmed Latifa’s cheeks.

And before her stood Hades, offering a flower with a charming smile and respectful demeanor.

Everything there felt unreal, like a dream.

‘Frau…’

Even the fear evoked by that unfamiliar word seemed to vanish beneath the beautiful scene unfolding before her eyes.

Or perhaps it wasn’t the scenery—but Hades himself?

Thinking back, ever since she became entangled with Hades, things had always been like this.

Whenever overwhelming fear closed in on Latifa until her breath caught sharply in her throat, his large hand—scented with the rich aroma of desert sand—would soon appear, brushing such worries away as if they were nothing.

Hades’s uniquely proud manner of speaking and acting transformed Latifa’s vague anxieties into a strange, fluttering excitement.

With someone as fearless as him, it truly felt as though even the impossible could be accomplished.

Even something as impossible as herself—once nothing more than a useless fugitive—becoming someone of the highest worth.

‘If only this were a dream…’
