Luhan approached Hades with a subtle smile, dressed in elegant silk fabric with a stylish silver belt, and wearing a splendid emerald ear cuff in one ear, signifying his royal status.

Looking frail but with royal dignity, Luhan said to Hades,

“Hades Caleb. The time has come.”

Luhan stood directly in front of Hades and spoke.

“What time?”

“The time for me to become the Sultan, and take all that is yours. Your subordinates, your wealth, your fame, all that you have.”

“Go ahead. Take it. It was all for you anyway.”

Hades bowed his head without resistance, as if expecting it.

Then Luhan lightly patted Hades’s shoulder with a sly smile.

“Can I take this too?”

At that, Hades swiftly raised his head to check what was in Luhan’s hand.

It was a sparkling aquamarine.

A gem emitting a mysterious blue light, transparent enough to dazzle the eyes.

A topgrade aquamarine that shimmered with a silvery shadow around the gem when it caught the light.

When did I have such a thing?

Amidst rising questions, Hades unconsciously reached out for it.

“Wait. This is not okay.”

“Hades, couldn’t you give me anything for my sake?”

Luhan asked, but Hades quickly reached to snatch the jewel.

But Luhan swiftly hid the jewelholding hand behind his back.

“That’s my aquamarine. I can’t give it to anyone, even if it’s Luhan Basil. Give it back.”

Hades growled and warned Luhan.
Hades growled a warning to Luhan.

“Just a jewel, isn’t it? I like this one……. If you don’t like it, I’ll give you another one.”

Luhan smiled slyly and challenged him.

“Luhan Basil. Hand it over!”

“It’s mine now.”

“That’s the jewel I found!”

Hades yelled loudly and charged at Luhan.

Then, suddenly, the darkness vanished, and the floor seemed to go out from under Hades, who opened his eyes wide.

It had all been a dream of Hades.

Outside the tent, the sandstorm whirred and howled, but no other sound could be heard.

“Phew. What a nonsensical nightmare.”

Beside him, the stillwarm campfire was burning, but Hades somehow shivered from an unknown chill.

“……Mother. I don’t want to be trapped in the palace. Let’s go out and live on our own.”

From directly beneath his bed, Hades heard Latifa’s muttering in Imperial, and he straightened his hunched body to look at the floor.

Latifa was asleep on the carpet, with a silk blanket and several cushions, mumbling in a language he couldn’t understand.

He didn’t know what she was saying, but her expression was not one of pleasant dreams, as she was frowning heavily.

“……You’re having a nightmare too.”

Hades reached a hand down under the bed and wrapped Latifa’s long silver hair around his finger.

“How can you have this moonlight color in your hair when you’re not even an old man with white hair?”

“……Uhm.”

“Did your parents have the same hair color?”

“Mmm…….”

“Who were you in the Empire?”

“…….”

“Did you live with your family?”

“Mother…….”

“……Did I kill your family too?”

Hades’s voice sounded very tired as he asked this.

“Latifa. Am I the cause of your nightmares?”

Hades quietly asked the sleeping Latifa, but there was no answer from the sleeping woman.

“I can’t protect Frau even in my dreams, so at least you shouldn’t have nightmares…….”

Hades, quietly muttering, fell asleep again, caressing her silver hair wrapped around his finger.

As if it had never rained, the desert began to torment people again with its scorching heat.

However, thanks to the collected cacti and rainwater, there was plenty of water and food, so the soldiers didn’t look as distressed as before.

Only one person.

Except for Latifa.

“Ugh. General Hades…….”

Latifa pushed him away, retching from the nausea rising within her.

In addition to the hot and dry desert climate, there was an even bigger problem for Latifa: the smell.

Since the rain in the desert had brought abundance, the soldiers occasionally made real food, not just dried fruits or jerky, and all of it contained strong spices.

All meat, vegetable, or bread dishes inevitably contained strongsmelling vinegar or spices, and many were stewed into a sticky mess, so just smelling them made Latifa nauseous or retch.

In her normal condition, it would have been fine, but her stomach had weakened due to Brenda’s poison, her body was becoming increasingly exhausted, and her nerves were on edge.

So dining with General Hades was a daily ordeal.

“Ugh! If you could, please move away…….”
Velia was barely surviving by eating yogurt, dried cactus flowers, and jerky, but the problem was Hades. The smell of the food he was eating was so nauseating that she would naturally feel sick just by going near him.

“You should be used to it by now. You’d probably faint in the spice market at Grand Bazaar.”

“I, the smell of real food is… disgusting, no, unique. I’ll be outside.”

Latifa Glaesia stood up with a sorry look on her face for no reason. She didn’t want to vomit in front of someone who was enjoying their meal, unnecessarily diminishing their appetite.

But Hades stopped her and stood up himself.

“No. That’s enough. I’ll eat outside. Rest here.”

“Gag.”

Latifa Glaesia found it difficult to respond and buried her face completely in the silk quilt. Nearby, a small desert fox timidly sniffed, assessing Latifa’s condition.

Hades, with a small sigh, took the pottery plate filled with meat stew and bread and left the tent.

Stepping on the dark black sand covered in darkness, Hades quietly moved away from Latifa.

“Oh, were you kicked out again?”

Seeing Hades come out with a plate, Manut quickly spread a blanket and made room next to her. Hades flopped down on it and quietly began to eat.

Manut couldn’t help but fidget, eventually opening her mouth.

“Just like a pregnant wife[Dash].”

“Shh.”

“Yes.”

A single cold word from Hades instantly shut Manut’s mouth. Only after the meal was finished did Hades speak.

“The medicine isn’t working at all.”

“The soldiers use it, so many are unrefined. Also, the constitutions of the desert people and the empire people are entirely different, so it’s difficult to use the medicine recklessly. That’s what the military doctors say.”

“The doctors are good at making excuses.”

“They’re doing their best.”

“She must not be this weak for the victory parade.”

“Victory parade? Oh, you’re going to appoint her as Frau then.”

“Yes. I will appoint her in front of all the royalty and the entire nation. So tell the military doctors. They must restore her health by the time we arrive at Grand Bazaar.”

“Yes, General.”

“Tell them that a military doctor who cannot heal a patient is not needed in my army.”

“You’re right, Ignite.”

Male lead is a Destined Young Husband (Female-dominant)

One-sentence summary: Wife-master, listen to my explanation!

Li Ruantang, a young lady from a prestigious family, stumbled and fell. When she woke up, she saw a noble and beautiful young man sitting by her bedside, wiping away tears.

The young master had slightly reddened eyes, and his every move exuded charm.

The sight made Li Ruantang’s eyes hot and her heart flutter. After all, she had made a bet with the young master Meng from the neighboring family. If she couldn’t marry a husband before the end of the year, she would have to admit defeat and give up the jade she had worked so hard to obtain.

Outside the window, the flowers were in full bloom.

Rather than losing the bet, the jade, and her face, Li Ruantang calculated that it would be better to seek marriage with the young master in front of her, killing three birds with one stone.

…

Meng Jun never thought that an accident during a spring outing would lead to them rolling down a cliff and into a river, yet still survive.

Now they were trapped in an unknown village, and Meng Jun had overheard that the family who had rescued them had their own intentions.

After all, it was Li Ruantang who had lost her mind and sought marriage first. He was only trying to protect himself!

Glancing at Li Ruantang, who was listing her own merits, the young husband’s voice softened, and he blushed as he lied, “W-wife-master, Wife-master, don’t you remember me?”

The young husband’s voice was clear and handsome, coaxing Li Ruantang’s heart to be soft and sweet, and she spared no effort to protect him.

It wasn’t until they returned to the capital that Li Ruantang suddenly remembered.

When they had fallen off the cliff, in order not to implicate Wei Yunruo, whom he secretly admired, the young husband had instead pulled her, who was slightly farther away, down the cliff with him…

Short summary by Yuushi L: Initially, the male lead (ML) liked another girl, while the female lead (FL) liked the ML. Both fell off a cliff. The FL temporarily lost her memory, and the ML, fearing others might take advantage of him, claimed FL was his wife while they were staying in a village. Later, when they returned home, the FL regained her memories and remembered that the ML liked someone else, so she kept her distance from him. However, during their time living together in the countryside, the ML’s view of the FL had completely changed. From this point, his pursuit of the FL begins.
