The bullet from Evenel’s gun struck Ebor’s right eye with precision. As the core shattered, the stones composing the monster’s body crumbled to an unrecognizable extent.

The eyes, not being made of stone, were the only parts she could bring down, but their bodies were so hard that they couldn’t be easily pierced even by specialized bullets.

“This is bad. The cores of the other three are hidden behind thick rocks. And I thought Ebor wasn’t supposed to come this far down.”

“Right. They usually inhabit deep within the forests.”

Shuher was equally perplexed. Encountering Ebor while subjugating was clearly an anomalous situation.

Moreover, Ebor was a higher-grade monster, vastly different in scale from those they had faced so far.

‘The only way to bring down these monsters under the current circumstances.’

Evenel said while eyeing Shuher, or more specifically, the sword he was holding.

“The only thing that could pierce those tough bodies would be Your Majesty’s power.”

No, there was one more person.

“What about Hibr’s Spirit Formula?”

She spotted Hibr among the people, but he was still stiffly frozen, barely managing to defend himself with his sword.

Even if he had the power, dealing with monsters in that condition seemed impossible.

“It’s out of the question.”

“Aah!”

As Ebor swung its stone arm wildly, the knights were flung away in an instant. Each step it took felt as if it made the earth and sky resound.

The two decided to move without delay.

“Bind the limbs of the monsters!”

The Emperor’s knights calmly followed Shuher’s instructions.

Evenel also played a role in guarding him and the knights from behind. Stepping forward unnecessarily could be a hindrance.

Black sword aura erupted from the sword Shuher was holding as he agilely dodged Ebor’s attacks, aiming precisely only at the cores that Evenel had informed him about.

As the number of injured increased, one by one, the Ebors fell. Fortunately, as time passed, the scales of victory began to tilt in their favor, thanks to Shuher’s power and Evenel’s ability.

While Evenel was reloading her gun amid the chaos, one person caught her eye. It was Hibr, who was still trembling.

‘It’ll be dangerous to leave him like that.’

The moment she tried to approach him, the last remaining one changed direction as if in a final act of defiance and charged toward Evenel.
Evenel aimed her gun at the shimmering light on her right shoulder, only to scratch the rock. She had expected this, not intending to bring down her target in the first place.

“I fired here, Your Majesty.”

Understanding her intent, Shuher, who had blocked her path, severed the monster’s arms and accurately pierced his sword through the marks Evenel had left. The last creature collapsed, losing its form.

Only then did silence return to the deafening space. The marks left on the ground were the only indicators of the fierce battle that had taken place.

Everyone finally relaxed and began attending to the injured.

Demil approached Shuher to update him on the casualties.

“Some are seriously injured, but it’s not life-threatening. Fortunately, the damage isn’t too severe considering Evor appeared.”

When Shuher looked towards Evenel, she shrugged her shoulders as her reply. Despite her fatigue and minor injuries, she felt fortunate.

Evenel approached Hebr, who was sitting down, drained of energy.

“Are you alright?”

He seemed too shocked to reply and hung his head after looking at the injured knights.

“I shouldn’t have come here.”

Holding his bow tightly on his shoulder, Hebr said so. Just as Evenel was about to say something, she felt that ominous feeling again, right under her feet.

‘Impossible.’

Without a moment’s thought, she enveloped Hebr in her arms and lunged forward. That instant, Evor sprang up from the spot they had just occupied.

Much larger than before.

Its eyes, filled with malice, locked onto the two fallen figures. It then raised its massive hand.

“Run!”

Evenel hastily got Hebr to his feet and narrowly dodged the attack, grabbing his hand and beginning to run. Evor followed them without giving the surroundings a second glance.

“Hurry, chase them!”

Shuher, noticing Evor targeting the two, quickly followed.

Evenel changed course into a dense forest, but the monster was tearing through the trees without slowing down.

But their escape was short-lived. What appeared before them was a cliff.

‘Of all places.’

Evor had closed in, effectively blocking any escape route.
Evenel hastily aimed her gun, noticing Shuher approaching from behind. But at that moment, the monster lifted both arms high and slammed them into the ground.

Cracks formed on the solid earth, and the platform on which they stood began to crumble into the abyss below.

Simultaneously, both of their bodies also fell downward.

During the fall, Evenel fired her last shot at Ebor, and in a split second, disappeared from Shuher’s view.

Shuher hurried to go that way, but the monster blocked his path. Strength involuntarily flowed into the hand gripping his sword as he looked at the collapsed ground.

The Villainous Demon Lord Laid an Egg for Her (Female-Dominated)

Several months after transmigrating into a book, Yu Wu found herself facing the demon lord Li You, who could no longer conceal his dragon horns. With one hand on her aching waist and the other gripping a sharp sword, she stared at him.

The demon lord’s eyes were red with fury:
“This is all your doing! Today, I won’t rest until I kill you!”

Yu Wu rubbed her temples. Putting aside the taboo against bloodshed during pregnancy, wasn’t it this very man who willingly walked into her trap that day?!
