Joo Won slowly moistened his red lips and leaned forward. His scent rushed in abruptly.

“Ah…!”

Hye Ju looked up at him with trembling eyes as his sturdy body pressed tightly against hers. In his gaze—fixed on her with deliberate intensity—she saw herself, fragile as a deer before a beast.

“Remember this clearly. Remember exactly what I’m doing.”

Joo Won’s fingers slid between Hye Ju’s, interlacing softly. He lifted their clasped hands and pressed his lips to the back of her hand, producing a faint, suggestive sound.

Chook-chok.

The sound of damp skin parting was so shamelessly clear it turned Hye Ju’s ears crimson. Her heart thumped wildly.

“Oppa…”

After kissing the back of her hand with tender care, Joo Won slowly trailed his lips up her wrist. They lingered, feather-light yet persistent, leaving her entire body flushed under the breath that claimed her as his.

His lips climbed her arm and paused at her shoulder. The moment his playful, teasing kisses along her collarbone reached her neck, Hye Ju gently closed her eyes.

Every hair on her skin stood on end; her blood rushed faster. It felt as if sparks were leaping across her entire body. The strange sensation—like a plug jammed into her veins—left Hye Ju utterly bewildered.

“Relax your body.”

Joo Won whispered against her neck, nibbling her earlobe as he kissed her. At the soft moan that slipped from her parted lips, he surged forward, searingly hot.

His lips slid in smoothly, insistently prying her mouth open. His movements, thoroughly mapping the inside of her mouth and leaving traces behind, were startlingly bold.

This kiss was unmistakably different from before. If their earlier kiss had been gentle, coaxing, and soothing, this one devoured her whole with raw hunger.
