“Vice Principal, you haven’t left yet?”

Chae Won met Se Kyung’s gaze again as she approached with wide eyes.

“Oh. I was just about to go.”

“Are you heading home, by any chance?”

“Yes.”

“Will you be eating dinner alone at home?”

“Huh?”

Wearing a white blouse with a round collar and a suspenders skirt, she smiled playfully and took a seat beside Chae Won.

“Vice Principal, if it’s not too much trouble… would you like to have dinner with me?”

Though they’d crossed paths several times at the hospital, they hadn’t really talked much, so her dinner invitation felt slightly abrupt.

“Oh, you’re uncomfortable, aren’t you?”

As Se Kyung’s expression fell, Chae Won watched her with an awkward look until the younger woman moved her petite lips.

“Actually, I promised Teacher Moon I’d treat him to dinner.”

“Sung Min?”

“Yes. He came in on the weekend because of me and worked so hard, so I promised to treat him—and today’s the day. But my manager’s on vacation today, so if it’s just the two of us, rumors might start spreading.”
