As she began to feel the pillow was higher than usual, Chaewon slightly opened her eyes, finding the sunlight unusually bright. Realizing she was in Choi Yugun’s living room, she froze in shock.

Choi Yugun, with his long legs stretched out on the carpet, was asleep on the sofa, leaning against its leg with his arms crossed.

She thought if he was asleep, he should’ve been sent home, and they could have both slept more comfortably.

Annoyed, Chaewon checked the time left before work and hurried towards the front door.

As she was about to slip on her shoes, she paused. It seemed unfair to leave him alone, given how late they had gone to bed.

His eyes slowly opened, still drowsy, and fixed on Chaewon sitting close by.

She looked around, then back at Yugun, who was still without movement or response, his sleepy eyes seemingly fixed only on her.

Yugun watched her hand regretfully, then pulled the cushion she had been resting on to the floor and lay down on it.

“Then get up. You need to get ready, don’t you?”

“I’m planning to rest for ten more minutes.”

Yugun placed the phone between them, overlapping it with Chaewon’s right hand.

“Here.”

Chaewon slightly turned her head away, as if avoiding Yugun’s gaze from above.

“I just realized, taking a photo lying down might not be appropriate for Grandma to see. Let’s just stand up and take it.”

“That’s from the woman who even booked a hotel room just to sleep. This little thing shouldn’t matter.”

“Ah, fine, then lie down. Quickly. I need to get ready for work too.”
