After meeting Ji Young, Min Jung canceled all her afternoon appointments and returned home, lying in bed with a cold towel on her forehead, groaning in distress.

She hadn’t seen someone act like that in a long time—was this how it felt to get hurt by the very person you trusted most?

Not only was it shocking that the person intended to divorce Ha Joon and marry him, but Min Jung was also furious because it seemed they were completely disregarding Min Joon, and her anger wouldn’t subside easily.

“I’ll be too old to go soon anyway, so just bear with it a little longer. When else am I going to have fun like this if not in my twenties? Ow! That stings!”

Min Joon earned another smack. Min Jung had abruptly sat up and slapped him hard on the back as he sat perched on her bed.

Min Joon could’ve dodged it—he was used to this—but he let her hit him. If he didn’t, she’d surely end up with a migraine. He had to let her vent her anger somehow.
