Late at night, a young man appeared at Daehwa Station’s luggage storage area, wearing a black cap pulled low over his face.

He alternated his gaze between his phone and the surroundings, scanned the lockers briefly, then quickly approached one spot.

At first glance, he looked young—so if it was something he himself had stored, he should’ve at least had a rough idea of its location, yet his behavior was deeply suspicious.

His strange behavior continued. As if he couldn’t even remember the password, he kept glancing back and forth between his phone and the surroundings while entering the code. After opening the locker, he checked once more. Then, after taking out an envelope, he looked around yet again.

Someone was secretly watching him.

It was a man sent by Seok Hoon.

Seok Hoon had instructed him to keep an eye out for anyone else retrieving the item Young Joo had stored.

Just as the man was checking the envelope, the observer casually approached and stood in front of a locker machine, pretending to store something.

Startled, the man quickly closed the envelope—but not before the observer clearly saw a thick stack of 50,000-won bills inside.

Not long after, that man was seated in front of Seok Hoon.

Bringing him over had been easy.

The moment Seok Hoon said, “I’ll give you triple,” the man readily agreed to come along—clearly, he’d been paid off by someone, and just as clearly, he was greedy for money.

At that very moment, Ha Joon and Seo Ah were together.

“If you’re holding back because you’re worried I’ll get tired, I’m fine—just hold me.”

Ha Joon, struggling to suppress his rising desire, pulled her tightly into his arms.
