When Seo Ah arrived at DK Hotel, Ha Joon was having a private conversation with Seok Hoon in his office.

Seok Hoon had immediately started carrying out a new task as soon as he returned from Haenam.

“Have you found out anything about Choi Young Joo yet?”

Ha Joon thought that since there was no helper who had received the chocolate, perhaps no one had passed it on in the first place.

He had known for six years that it was Young Joo who sent the chocolate. That day, he had accidentally overheard the conversation between Seo Ah and Young Joo.

“Unnie, you delivered it properly, right? Did oppa say anything else?”

“Yes. We’re looking into whether it was a deliberate approach, and we’ve secured the black box memory card to check if there’s anything unusual.”

“You’re sure you took the memory card without Choi Young Joo noticing, right? If she finds out I was investigating behind her back—even though it wasn’t her—it would upset Seo Ah too. Of course, it could turn out to be true, so we have to be even more careful.”

“Yes. Luckily, the car was in for washing and maintenance, so it was easy to remove. I’ll be even more thorough from now on.”

“Please check the memory card as quickly as possible.”
