As the hot summer approached its end and the cool autumn took a step closer, one day,
Seoa was invited to Hajun’s gathering.
After getting her hair and makeup done, Seokhoon took her to a dress shop, which turned out to be the fitting room of Taesung Hotel’s wedding hall.
Seoa felt a little perplexed. This place was where she had worn a wedding dress during her wedding, and it was a place where brides wore wedding dresses.
“Why are we here?”
“The gathering is at the outdoor banquet hall here. You can comfortably wear a dress and come out.”
When Seokhoon smiled gently, Seoa nodded and entered the fitting room.
However, two female employees who were waiting handed her a wedding dress without any explanation.
“Uh… I’m not the bride. I came to wear a dress for the gathering.”
“Yes! Today’s dress code for the gathering is a wedding dress!”

“Oh…”
Since Seoa had no interest in the chaebol gatherings, she never imagined there would be such a unique and glamorous event.
“Our head office chose and picked these dresses. Just choose the one you like. This dress is the one the bride wore at her wedding.”
Seoa, who hesitated for a moment, pointed to one.
“I’ll wear this one.”
“Huh? You can try all of them and decide.”
“No. I’ll wear this one.”
Wearing a wedding dress, Seoa followed the employee’s guidance into the bride’s waiting room.
“Wait here for a moment. When the head office comes, you can go to the banquet hall together.”
“Thank you.”

After the employee left, Seoa looked around the waiting room.
This was also the place where she had waited during her wedding.
Unintentionally, she felt the emptiness she had felt at that time.
Seoa, who often felt lonely, had avoided having a large and luxurious wedding, asking everyone not to make a fuss.
Her family was busy welcoming guests, so she had been alone for a while.
The bride’s waiting room where the groom hadn’t arrived.
The outward appearance was splendid, but it was truly a lonely wedding.
However, now she could smile while recalling that time. Because of that time, she still had what she had now.
Hajun knew too well why Seoa had no choice but to do that. Because she was compensating for that time now.
Seoa thought it was nice to be able to use the fitting room and waiting room reserved for brides, married to Taesung Hotel’s successor.

Ding-dong,
At that moment, a knocking sound broke the silence.
“Yes.”
As Seoa looked at the door, her heart raced happily.
Wearing a wedding dress according to the dress code for the gathering, she somehow felt like she had returned to that time.
When the door opens, the groom Kang Hajun will come in, right? The man she had loved so much. She still loved him passionately, and she would continue to love him unchanged.
The only difference from back then is that now he knows she shares the same feelings.
With a click, the door opened, and he walked in.
Wearing the tuxedo she wore at the wedding, with the same hairstyle and makeup, for a moment, Seoa doubted her own eyes.
Was she unknowingly hoping that Hajun would come in the same way as he did back then, immersed in those memories?
Hajun’s pupils also trembled intensely as he faced Seoa.

It was because Seoa was wearing the dress she wore at the wedding.
The off-shoulder dress revealed her delicate shoulders, adorned with a vivid three-dimensional flower embroidery. It was a bell-line dress that suited her pure and cute image.
Hajun did glance at this sight, but this time, he had prepared various dresses so that Seoa could choose the one she liked, considering that this dress was the one he had chosen at the time.
Honestly, Seoa thought she would never wear this dress because she wanted to forget the memories of that time. She knew well why she had married him, so she didn’t expect to wear this dress.
For a moment, the two stared at each other intently, then exchanged a light smile.
“You wore the tuxedo you wore at the wedding too, Yeobo? What kind of gathering is this with such a dress code?”
Hajun uttered a faint chuckle as he approached her step by step. He knew she was pure, but he truly believed in her.
“Yeobo, you wore this dress exactly as it is? Why not wear something else?”
“This dress was specially made by Yeobo for me. At that time, I didn’t feel anything because I thought you chose it to show others, but after knowing Yeobo’s feelings, I wanted to try it on again.”
“Thank you for wearing it.”

“Huh?”
At the unexpected words, Seoa blinked her large eyes. She wasn’t sure what she should be thankful for. In fact, she felt she should be the one thanking him.
“But… What about… the bouquet?”
As Seoa leaned forward to examine Hajun’s back, he, who had been holding it behind him, presented the bouquet to her with a stylish smile.
“Wow, it’s beautiful. The fragrance is so lovely. But what kind of flowers are these?”
In response to Seoa’s question as she buried her face in the bouquet, Hajun took a deep breath and opened his mouth.
“We’re having our own wedding today.”
“What?”
When male lead is the homewrecker
“I know she doesn’t love him.”
I’ve read the novel below twice already. Girls, I’m highly recommending it to you!
The female lead? Not a good person.
The second male lead? Not a good person.
The male lead? Willingly plays the third party, breaking up the female and second male lead’s relationship despite all the warnings from his friends—so yeah, he’s definitely not a good person either.
Basically, nobody in this novel is simple-minded or without scheming.
The female lead starts off as the male lead’s secretary, but don’t worry—later on, she takes over the company while the male lead steps back to support her. He won’t steal her spotlight, overshadow her, or dull her shine.
I love novels where men are out here snatching wigs, tearing each other down, and going to war just to win the female lead’s affection. And this is exactly that kind of novel. Most of Hai Dai Ran’s works have this dynamic. You’ll see the male characters’ emotions being pushed to the absolute extreme.
There’s even a scene where the second male lead exposes the male lead online for being a homewrecker. The brotherhood immediately gangs up on him, dragging him through the mud. I find it compelling —it completely flips reality on its head, where usually, women are the ones fighting over a man and getting torn apart by the sisterhood.
For me, female leads in the novels I read should only struggle in their careers, not in love. But if the brainless romantics in the story are all men? I have zero complaints.
I’ve pretty much read all of Hai Dai Ran’s novels and even translated all of them—her works are just my thing. I’ll slowly upload everything here. One day, when my website is official, I hope I can invite her to join as one of the star authors.
