“But don’t we… have something to do?”
Seeing Seoa not responding, Hajun separated himself from her embrace, locked eyes with her, and, noticing her flushed face, narrowed his eyes.
“You were thinking something naughty again.”
“Yes, yes? No, not at all?”
Pierced by Seoa’s pointed glare, Hajun chuckled and resisted her attempt to push him away, not letting go.
“Really, you didn’t? But why is your face so red?”
“…Oppa made the atmosphere weird.”
Seoa, embarrassed by the confession, quickly pushed him away but ended up burying herself in his embrace again.
Even though it would have been fine to resist until the end, Seoa’s inability to lie was too adorable for Hajun. Laughter bloomed on his face.
Thinking back, Seoa, who had felt unjustly treated, pushed him away slightly, displaying a stern expression.

“So, what’s this thing we have to do?”
“We need to sort out the terms of address.”
“Ah…”
Seoa’s pupils couldn’t catch up with the situation.
Hajun thought she would have naturally assumed he was teasing her, but unexpectedly, she seemed embarrassed. It was now the awkward moment when he felt like he should call her ‘Honey’ for real.
‘You’ seemed like a neutral term that didn’t reveal the age difference. It felt like they were becoming a genuine couple rather than ‘Oppa, Dongsaeng.’
Come to think of it, before confirming each other’s feelings, they had drawn a line with ‘you.’ Why does it feel awkward now?
“From now on, we need to practice so that it comes out naturally in front of others, right?”
“Th… that’s right…”
Hajun was awkward too. However, Seoa seemed even more awkward, so he was a bit excited to tease her.

“Alright, try calling me ‘Honey.'”
“…I’ll try to get used to it slowly.”
Seoa, trying to bury her face in his arms again, found Hajun gently cupping her small face with his large hands, making eye contact.
“Just call me once. Okay? Honey. Just once.”
Seoa, feeling extremely awkward, couldn’t decide whether to go along with it. However, she opened her mouth determinedly.
“H-Honey.”
Before she could finish, Hajun pressed his lips onto her small, lovely ones.
Whatever ‘Honey’ meant, as he stubbornly insisted on hearing it, it turned out to be too adorable when she said it.
Although he intended for a light kiss, instinctively, he delved into her delicate lips.
He needed to restrain himself today, considering how exhausted she must have been taking care of herself from last night to this morning. However, when she didn’t push him away but instead embraced him, his self-control snapped.

In the end, the two naturally headed to the bathroom without any reservations, confirming their love once again until late at night.
Time passed, and it became the day when Hajun went on a business trip to Jeju Island.
Hajun was carefully preparing alone because he had to take the first flight when Seoa, rubbing her sleepy eyes with messy hair, entered the dressing room.
“Ogu, awake?”
Hajun found her too adorable and unintentionally treated her like a child.
“I told you to wake me up… Wasn’t it uncomfortable to shower alone? What about disinfection?”
Originally, they had planned to undo the binding from yesterday’s punishment. However, due to sharing love throughout the weekend without a break, they decided to wait a few more days as she had sweated excessively.
“I’m done. Don’t worry.”
“I’ll tie your tie.”
Seoa finished tying the tie that Hajun had started to tie.
Hajun then tidied up her messy hair and removed the eye boogers, gazing at her lovingly.

“I’ll try to catch the last flight, but there’s a high chance I’ll take the morning flight tomorrow. Can you sleep alone?”
“Of course. Don’t worry.”
“Just in case, I asked Auntie to sleep on the first floor. Or would you prefer to sleep at your parents’ place? To Secretary Kim…”
“No! It’s okay! Auntie doesn’t have to, but why don’t you go with Secretary Kim?”
“Ah, I decided to go with Manager Heo.”
Seoa nodded slightly, and even inserted the tie pin.
Once ready, Hajun approached Seoa, lowered his head, and locked eyes with her.
“Nothing to say?”
Then, Seoa shyly puckered her lips.
“Be careful on your trip. Honey.”

Softly raising her heels, Seoa lightly kissed Hajun on the lips, and he gently embraced her.
“Make sure to do well on the remaining exams, Honey. If anything happens, contact me or Secretary Kim.”
After exchanging their final greetings, Hajun took his heavy steps.
In the afternoon,
Youngju packed her luggage into a large suitcase and peered outside through the gap in the window curtains.
Not long ago, she received her final mission from the broker organization.
Kang Hajun is going on a business trip to Jeju Island on Tuesday. So, meet with Kang Hajun after Wednesday to apologize and negotiate surrender. Then, take Han Seoa with you on Tuesday and return. After that, head straight to Incheon Airport to help secure a position in China.
When male lead is the homewrecker
“I know she doesn’t love him.”
I’ve read the novel below twice already. Girls, I’m highly recommending it to you!
The female lead? Not a good person.
The second male lead? Not a good person.
The male lead? Willingly plays the third party, breaking up the female and second male lead’s relationship despite all the warnings from his friends—so yeah, he’s definitely not a good person either.
Basically, nobody in this novel is simple-minded or without scheming.
The female lead starts off as the male lead’s secretary, but don’t worry—later on, she takes over the company while the male lead steps back to support her. He won’t steal her spotlight, overshadow her, or dull her shine.
I love novels where men are out here snatching wigs, tearing each other down, and going to war just to win the female lead’s affection. And this is exactly that kind of novel. Most of Hai Dai Ran’s works have this dynamic. You’ll see the male characters’ emotions being pushed to the absolute extreme.
There’s even a scene where the second male lead exposes the male lead online for being a homewrecker. The brotherhood immediately gangs up on him, dragging him through the mud. I find it compelling —it completely flips reality on its head, where usually, women are the ones fighting over a man and getting torn apart by the sisterhood.
For me, female leads in the novels I read should only struggle in their careers, not in love. But if the brainless romantics in the story are all men? I have zero complaints.
I’ve pretty much read all of Hai Dai Ran’s novels and even translated all of them—her works are just my thing. I’ll slowly upload everything here. One day, when my website is official, I hope I can invite her to join as one of the star authors.
Here’s the story synopsis:
