It was the day of the strategic marriage between Kang Ha Joon, the eldest son of the vice chairman of Tae Sung Group, and Han Seo Ah, the second daughter of the vice chairman of Yu Young Group.
If we were to rank them, no group would follow Tae Sung Group. For 30 years, it had maintained its number one spot, overwhelmingly.
Ranked 30th, the Yu Young Group was on a continuous rise in stock prices since the news of the strategic marriage was announced. Thanks to this, it was expected to enter the top 20 within the next five years.
The wedding was held at Tae Sung Hotel, known as the place where conglomerates and top stars held their weddings. It was held on the highest floor of domestic wedding halls, with thorough security as the basic.
It was also the hotel that Ha Joon had recently received as a department head.
From the glamorous chandelier lighting to the live flower decoration decorated by the best florists, everything was fully equipped with full options.
The guests, mostly politicians, people from the business world, and their children, had been there at least once, but it was more gorgeously decorated than ever, making it feel like they were at a new venue.
“There’s a rumor that the groom loves the bride terribly. Otherwise, there would be no reason to hold a wedding like roasting beans in a bonfire with a twentythreeyearold who hasn’t even graduated from university. He’s only twentyseven himself.”
“The great Kang Ha Joon in love?! He used to treat women like stones, no, like ghost humans.”
The great Kang Ha Joon was the perfect groom for the daughters of politicians and business people. Many women were so passionate that they would follow him to an American university where he went to somehow get connected with him.
“Such a man, when he falls in love once, he falls in terribly.”
“That’s nonsense. It’s just business. Business. Strategic marriage is just an extension of business, isn’t it? These days, who does strategic marriage? They do love marriage.”
Unlike the old days when strategic marriage was like a duty, it was common for chaebols and nonchaebols to marry these days.
However, Kang Ha Joon, who had the perfect appearance and specs more than anyone, chose a strategic marriage at a young age.

For him, who had no interest in women and only knew studying and working, it might have been natural to choose a strategic marriage.
“Tae Sung Group is not lacking anything to call it an extension of business. It would be understandable if Yu Young Group is in a hurry.”
Ironically, it was a marriage that would have been held five years later if it had been as originally planned.
All of this was the result of the groom, Kang Ha Joon, suddenly pushing.
((()))
Only the family could enter the bride’s waiting room.
This was because Seo Ah, who felt burdened by the grand wedding with a maximum capacity of a thousand people, wanted no one to come in.
The bride’s hair, makeup, and dress were all requested by the world’s top artists and designers just like everything else.
“Ha Joon oppa, no! Is he now my brotherinlaw? Brotherinlaw must really love you! I’m so jealous!”
Seo Ah’s lovely younger sister, Seo Yoon, looked at her with envious eyes.
Then Seo Ah calmly held one of Seo Yoon’s hands tightly with both of her hands.
“You should have a love marriage. Meet many men, as late as possible, after enjoying everything you can.”
Seo Yoon looked at Seo Ah with her eyes narrowed.
“Why is your expression like that? Anyone who sees it would think you’re being forced to marry someone you don’t want to! You’re marrying Ha Joon oppa because you like him! You thought I wouldn’t know?!”
Seo Ah’s pupils trembled slightly, startled.
And the words Ha Joon had said six years ago echoed in her head.
Rather than doing that, memorize one more English word. It’s embarrassing to welcome a wife with an empty head.
Just like then, she felt choked.
His gaze looking at her as if despising her was also clear.

He was originally a cold person, but because he was cold to everyone, she didn’t care thinking that was his original character, but she never thought he hated her enough to despise her.
Seo Ah, who always smiled brightly with a bright and positive personality, had always received love, so the shock was even greater.
But at that time, her feelings for him were greater. So, she went to France for studying abroad in order to become a person who fits with him.
It was like that until then……
“Unni, unni?!”
“Huh?”
“What are you thinking about all of a sudden?”
Seo Ah immediately smiled brightly.
“No, nothing……”
((()))
“The groom enters!”
Kang Ha Joon, who was 188cm tall and had perfect proportions, walked down the historically longest virgin road that took minutes to walk based on the bride’s pace.
When male lead is the homewrecker
“I know she doesn’t love him.”
I’ve read the novel below twice already. Girls, I’m highly recommending it to you!
The female lead? Not a good person.
The second male lead? Not a good person.
The male lead? Willingly plays the third party, breaking up the female and second male lead’s relationship despite all the warnings from his friends—so yeah, he’s definitely not a good person either.
Basically, nobody in this novel is simple-minded or without scheming.
The female lead starts off as the male lead’s secretary, but don’t worry—later on, she takes over the company while the male lead steps back to support her. He won’t steal her spotlight, overshadow her, or dull her shine.
I love novels where men are out here snatching wigs, tearing each other down, and going to war just to win the female lead’s affection. And this is exactly that kind of novel. Most of Hai Dai Ran’s works have this dynamic. You’ll see the male characters’ emotions being pushed to the absolute extreme.
There’s even a scene where the second male lead exposes the male lead online for being a homewrecker. The brotherhood immediately gangs up on him, dragging him through the mud. I find it compelling —it completely flips reality on its head, where usually, women are the ones fighting over a man and getting torn apart by the sisterhood.
For me, female leads in the novels I read should only struggle in their careers, not in love. But if the brainless romantics in the story are all men? I have zero complaints.
I’ve pretty much read all of Hai Dai Ran’s novels and even translated all of them—her works are just my thing. I’ll slowly upload everything here. One day, when my website is official, I hope I can invite her to join as one of the star authors.
Here’s the story synopsis:
