The Queen set down her cup sternly. Carl nodded silently.

The Queen sipped her tea, visibly pleased.
At night, knights with torches scoured the Queen’s palace. The Queen, with tear-soaked cheeks, wailed, clutching a limp woman.
“My cousin, Driena! How could this tragedy happen!”
Her acting, combined with the maids’ somber expressions, filled the palace with mourning. Soon, the King arrived with the royal guard.

She glared at the King.
