Though it had already been perfectly prepared upon arrival, Ju Han and So Min gave it one more thorough cleaning, packed it neatly, and got it ready for delivery.

The destination was a two-story house located in an upscale residential neighborhood. A man—who seemed like the homeowner’s secretary or perhaps a mid-level subordinate—greeted Ju Han and So Min and led them inside.

“He asked that you place it appropriately in this room.”

Ju Han glanced around the space.

A bookshelf lining one entire wall and the scattered books clearly indicated the room was meant as a study, yet everything else was so minimally furnished it felt slightly bare.

“Considering the direction the light comes in, placing it here would probably be the most comfortable spot for use.”

“Then we’ll do just that.”

Ju Han and So Min set the desk down at a gentle angle facing the window and finished arranging it.

The desk’s substantial weight, combined with the solid warmth unique to natural wood, instantly transformed the room’s atmosphere.

It became the immediate focal point—drawing the eye first—but also enriched the rest of the space so it no longer felt bland.

“Please let us know right away if anything feels off.”

Ju Han and So Min stepped outside with the man.

After exchanging goodbyes, the man got into a sedan and drove off, while Ju Han and So Min were about to get into their own car.
