Sol Hee suddenly recalled what Gi Woo had said to her not long ago.

“You’ve always seen other people’s feelings only the way you wanted to, then and now.”

She’d thought it was just an accusation thrown out between them while resentment still lingered…

“I’m curious—why bring that up now? What would’ve changed even if I’d known back then?”

Sol Hee was rendered speechless by Gi Woo’s icy, expressionless stare.

It even resembled, to some extent, that face she’d clearly imprinted in her memory that one and only night—looking up from below, dizzily, yet unmistakably.

Really though—would anything have changed if she’d known back then?

If she hadn’t heard those baseless rumors, if she’d had the conversation she’d intended to have then, what might have happened?

At the very least, it wouldn’t have ended up as this awful, ambiguous one-night stand that wasn’t even properly dating.

“I’m sorry.”

And now, regardless, this was the first thing she needed to say.

“I’m sorry I believed it without asking you clearly back then.”

Gi Woo stared at Sol Heee without answering and let out a shallow sigh. Then he adjusted his grip on the steering wheel.

“We should head to the broadcast station first. We’re going to be late.”

What kind of response was that?
