So Min glared.

“What are you doing right now?”

Jae Rim, aware of the person standing behind So Min, quickly stepped closer.

“I’m sorry, okay? Just let it slide this once.”

Then he leaned in even closer and whispered,

“Pretend I’m with your group. Let’s go in together. I really wanted to come here.”

“Wow, where’s your conscience…?”

“Where else can you find someone who gets along so well with you? If our roles were reversed, I’d have called you over here first thing.”

What’s the point of arguing?

So Min crossed her arms as if saying, “Do whatever you want,” and turned to face forward. Jae Rim grinned and checked the time.

“What time did you get here, So Min?”

“About thirty minutes ago.”

“I could’ve arrived around then too, if I hadn’t gotten lost halfway. But honestly, it’s a bit surprising. I never imagined you’d be the type to seek out places that require standing in line like this.”

“You’re right. I absolutely hate that sort of thing. But I’ve been a regular here since it first opened. I didn’t come because it became famous—I’d just kept coming, and then one day it suddenly blew up.”

“Ah, I see.”
