“I’ll give it a try.”
“Really?”
“Seriously. I already crossed the line.”
Juhan began ascending the stairs, Eunsoo followed with a skeptical frown.
As they moved forward in line, they soon reached the front. The rollercoaster roared in, and its passengers disembarked. It was their turn now.
“Are you sure you’re okay with this?”
“I’m fine.”
Juhan and Eunsoo took their seats in the middle. The safety bar locked firmly overhead, and the lively announcement of departure echoed.
“Sun Eunsoo.”
“What?”

What should I do? Eunsoo, caught off guard, responded absentmindedly. Juhan continued,
“I have a confession too.”
“A confession?”
Eunsoo was startled, not realizing she had used the same word earlier. Juhan, stiffly gripping the safety bar, added,
“If you had said it first, I would have said I liked it too.”
Clunk.
The rollercoaster started moving, shaking Eunsoo’s gaze.
“If you had said you liked rides first, I would have agreed. If you had suggested we ride together, I would have, somehow.”
Juhan took a deep breath, eyes shut tight.
“…Like now.”

Staring blankly at Juhan’s pale face, Eunsoo suddenly turned her head. Her heart was pounding loudly, and her head spun, unsure if it was from thrill or something else.
Clack, creak.
The rollercoaster climbed the steep slope and stopped at its peak. Juhan, barely opening his eyes, caught a glimpse of the open sky and the tiny-looking Rotiland.
“……!”
Juhan couldn’t even scream as the rollercoaster plunged down.
“Excuse me, are you okay?”
Juhan saw something pale before him. As his blurry vision cleared, he realized it was Eunsoo’s face looking down at him.
“Still not back to your senses?”
Eunsoo, waving her hand in front of his face, clenched her fist.
“It’s no use. A strong physical therapy might fix this…”

“No, I’m back.”
Juhan quickly responded.
He couldn’t recall how he survived those minutes on Blizzard Rail. Somehow, he had ridden it and even walked off on his own, and crucially, he was still alive.
Eunsoo said,
“If you’re back, then let go of my hand.”
“My hand?”
Following Eunsoo’s gaze, Juhan was startled to see his hand gripping hers.
“When did I grab it? Why did I?”
“You’ve been holding it since the rollercoaster started falling.”
“Sorry. Are you okay?”

“No, I can’t feel my hand.”
Eunsoo lightly shook her hand and turned.
“Let’s go. We’ve had enough fun.”
Juhan silently stood beside her, walking in step.
As they neared the entrance they had first come through, Juhan noticed Eunsoo fiddling with her headband.
“Regretting?”
“Me? Regret not playing more?”
Eunsoo chuckled incredulously. Juhan shrugged.
“I don’t regret it either.”
Then he added softly,

“I regretted not being able to come here with you for a school trip in high school. Now, it’s fine.”
Eunsoo stopped, rooted to the spot.
A school trip.
They had been in the same class for two years, so there were a few occasions they could have attended together. But Eunsoo didn’t go on the second-year trip, the autumn trip, or the following spring trip.
Swallowing something rising in her throat, Eunsoo turned to Juhan.
“That’s right. I didn’t go, and neither did you. I forgot it was here.”
Her tone was calm, but her voice trembled slightly.
“But why didn’t you go? I didn’t because I had no money and no friends.”
Juhan stared intently at Eunsoo, his gaze carrying an indiscernible warmth.
“You know why.”
After a long silence, Juhan suddenly spoke and began to stride ahead. Eunsoo, initially frozen, silently followed behind.

Her cheeks burned without reason. She knew the truth behind Juhan’s words. She knew why he, like her, chose not to attend the high school spring picnic during their senior year and instead came to school for self-study.
‘But what kind of answer did I expect to hear from him?’
Was it the amusement park, or dressing unusually that made her so giddy and loose-tongued? She couldn’t understand her own behavior.
Exiting the amusement park, they headed back to the same costume rental shop. The employee seemed surprised to see them returning so soon, only a couple of hours later.
There was an awkward tension between them, making the employee wonder if they had fought.
Before entering separate changing rooms, Eunsoo gently grabbed Juhan’s sleeve.
“Why?”
“Thanks.”
“For what?”
Juhan asked with a gentle look. Eunsoo hesitated, then rolled her eyes.

“You know why.”
A curious smile appeared on Juhan’s face.
“I don’t know. You need to be specific. Like, ‘Kim Juhan, I know you wanted to go to the spring picnic in senior year but didn’t because of me, thanks.'”
Eunsoo’s face turned red to her ears.
“That’s not it! Everyone else went to the picnic and had fun. If you hadn’t kept me in the classroom alone, I would’ve gone to Seoul National University!”
“So it’s my fault you didn’t get into Seoul National? Because we were alone in that classroom that day, and you couldn’t concentrate on studying?”
“Are you crazy?”
Irritated, Eunsoo spun around and stormed into the changing room.
Male lead is a Destined Young Husband (Female-dominant)
One-sentence summary: Wife-master, listen to my explanation!
Li Ruantang, a young lady from a prestigious family, stumbled and fell. When she woke up, she saw a noble and beautiful young man sitting by her bedside, wiping away tears.
The young master had slightly reddened eyes, and his every move exuded charm.
The sight made Li Ruantang’s eyes hot and her heart flutter. After all, she had made a bet with the young master Meng from the neighboring family. If she couldn’t marry a husband before the end of the year, she would have to admit defeat and give up the jade she had worked so hard to obtain.
Outside the window, the flowers were in full bloom.
Rather than losing the bet, the jade, and her face, Li Ruantang calculated that it would be better to seek marriage with the young master in front of her, killing three birds with one stone.
…
Meng Jun never thought that an accident during a spring outing would lead to them rolling down a cliff and into a river, yet still survive.
Now they were trapped in an unknown village, and Meng Jun had overheard that the family who had rescued them had their own intentions.
After all, it was Li Ruantang who had lost her mind and sought marriage first. He was only trying to protect himself!
Glancing at Li Ruantang, who was listing her own merits, the young husband’s voice softened, and he blushed as he lied, “W-wife-master, Wife-master, don’t you remember me?”
The young husband’s voice was clear and handsome, coaxing Li Ruantang’s heart to be soft and sweet, and she spared no effort to protect him.
It wasn’t until they returned to the capital that Li Ruantang suddenly remembered.
When they had fallen off the cliff, in order not to implicate Wei Yunruo, whom he secretly admired, the young husband had instead pulled her, who was slightly farther away, down the cliff with him…
