“Broadcast? Wow!”
Jaerim, always enthusiastic, was the first to react.
“What kind of program? A drama? A movie?”
“No, it’s an observational entertainment show. It’s a new launch, not an existing one, and it’ll be aired as a Watplus original,” Eunsu explained.
“That sounds interesting,” Seonkyung remarked with curiosity in her eyes at the mention of Watplus.
Somin, who had little interest or enthusiasm for the entertainment world, showed no significant change in expression. She just guessed it must be something positive, judging by Jaerim and Seonkyung’s reactions.
“Who’s appearing? Singers? Actors?”
Juhan, who had been silently standing behind Eunsu, suddenly answered.
“Me and Director Sun Eunsu.”
“What?”

“It’s a show with ordinary people, not celebrities or famous figures.”
Jaerim, looking puzzled, asked, “So, it’s not just a location sponsorship for the store, but you and Director Sun are actually going to appear in a reality show featuring ordinary people?”
“That’s right. But the store will also appear. We’ll mainly be filming here.”
Eunsu elaborated that the show would capture the daily lives of the participants, both in their work and romantic relationships.
“Work and romance…?”
Confusion and curiosity were evident on the employees’ faces. Seonkyung, voicing everyone’s question, asked, “Why would you two be on such a program?”
Juhan, having anticipated this question, replied with a relaxed smile.
“Let’s talk about it over dinner.”
He casually placed an arm around Eunsu’s shoulder and turned towards the door.
The employees were struck by an initial shock wave at Juhan’s casual yet affectionate gesture. The second wave hit as they watched Eunsu walk away without reacting angrily or even glaring at Juhan.

Jaerim and Seonkyung simultaneously mumbled their thoughts.
“This must be a joke, right?”
“It doesn’t seem like a joke…”
“Director Sun Eunsu and I are dating.”
At the chosen restaurant for tonight’s company dinner, Juhan announced this with the same casualness as if he were choosing a menu item.
Eunsu, avoiding everyone’s gaze due to embarrassment, chimed in, “That’s what happened.”
Coincidentally, Juhan and Eunsu sat side by side at the table, with the other three employees across from them. The seating arrangement, which normally wouldn’t be deliberate, felt awkward today.
Somin skeptically scratched her cheek, “Is this a hidden camera prank or something?”
Seonkyung, a bit amused, added, “It’s not even April Fools’, why are you playing such a prank?”
Given that nothing seemed amiss until now, it was natural for the employees to be skeptical. Juhan calmly responded, “I expected you wouldn’t believe it. Let’s just say we’ve been perfect at keeping our office romance a secret.”

Eunsu quickly intervened, “Sorry for not telling you sooner. We kept it secret due to worries it might cause discomfort at work. But when we got the broadcasting offer, we saw it as a unique promotional opportunity…”
“Really…?”
The employees were baffled.
Seonkyung’s eyes flickered in disbelief, and Eunsu couldn’t help but smile inwardly at the successful deception. Jaerim, who had been silent, suddenly asked, “Since when?”
“Over a year now.”
“Not recently? If it’s not too rude, can you tell us the exact date?”
“May 11th.”
“And the last meal you two had on a date?”
“Dakgalbi two-person set with assorted and cheese toppings, and fried rice… But why are you asking?”
Juhan, who had been answering fluidly, suddenly realized the peculiarity of the questions. Fortunately, they were easy to answer, but had they not coordinated on these topics, such probing could have been troublesome.

Eunsu, taken aback by Jaerim’s line of questioning, felt her heart sink.
“Are you interrogating a criminal now? It’s not a crime to fall in… fall in… love at work, right…?”
Eunsu, unable to utter the word ‘love’, pointed accusingly at Jaerim. But suddenly, Jaerim turned to Somin and exclaimed.
“See, Somin! I was right, wasn’t I? I won, didn’t I?”
Everyone’s confused gaze turned to Jaerim. He continued, triumphantly, “Would they bother coordinating their dating anniversary and date meal if it was just a joke? This is real! They are a real couple!”
Somin immediately objected, “You can’t just jump to conclusions that suit you. It’s all circumstantial evidence, there’s no visible proof. It’s not like we questioned them separately and compared their answers.”
“How can you prove more than this? Matching clothes? Rings? They said it was a secret affair, how could they make it obvious?”
“There are still possibilities to consider. What if both of you are betting on whether we’d be fooled or not?”
“That’s just absurd!”
Why are these two suddenly arguing about our relationship?
Eunsu, still in shock, caught on to something strange.

“A bet? Both of you ‘also’…?”
A peculiar silence fell.
The inquisitive eyes turned towards Jaerim and Somin. Jaerim hesitantly began to speak.
My Arch-enemy Sealed My Memory and Said That He is My Husband
This is an incredibly captivating story that you absolutely shouldn’t miss! I’ll give a brief introduction here, and below you’ll find a detailed synopsis of the plot.
The female lead is a fierce and powerful demon king. The male lead is a once-in-a-millennium celestial lord, admired by the entire cultivation world.
They are equally matched, legendary rivals who have battled for centuries.
In the final duel, the female lead is gravely injured. The male lead saves her, seals her memories, and hides her true identity. He tells her that he is her fiancé. His entire life has been flawless—except for the one thing he never expected, never controlled, and never wanted to control: falling for his greatest enemy. She is his inner demon, his obsession.
When the female lead regains her memories, she is furious at his deception.
She makes his life a living hell.
And somehow, the male lead—possibly a total masochist—doesn’t mind at all. In fact, he’s happy she’s paying attention to him.
Yep, we’re back to my favorite trope: male lead suffering. If you love this kind of story, jump into the pit with me now!!!
Intro
Dong Xia lost her memory.
Her handsome and extremely powerful fiancé Li Qing comforted her: “It’s okay if you can’t remember. I’ll always be with you.”
Everyone thought Dong Xia’s ancestors must have burned incense to get such a perfect fiancé. He was the number one person in the immortal realm, yet he remained chaste and only loved her.
…
The day before marrying her fiancé, Dong Xia finally remembered everything.
She wasn’t suffering from memory loss at all.
Her arch-enemy had made her fake her death, destroyed her cultivation, replaced her memories, and pretended to be her deeply in love fiancé.
No wonder he said, “It’s okay if you can’t remember”!
Dong Xia laughed coldly as she pulled out her long knife: Li Qing, prepare to die 🙂
*
Li Qing, as the supreme being of the immortal realm, was the people’s shining beacon.
The only unknown stain in his life was his affection for Dong Xia, the ruler of the demon realm.
In the final battle of the war between immortals and demons, the sky collapsed and the earth shattered. The ruler of the demon realm was finally slain under the sword of the supreme being of the immortal realm, and everyone in the immortal realm applauded.
The cultivation world lost a ruler of the demon realm.
And in the back mountain of Li Qing’s cave dwelling, he secretly hid away a fiancée.
Notes:
1. The female lead is white on the outside, black on the inside, and the queen of flattery; the male lead repeatedly tests the edge of darkness, a VIP guest at the crematorium.
