At the End of Ruin, There You Are (56 Chapters Left to Complete) - Chapter 82
Caella’s time spent in Lusenford was far longer than she perceived. This was because the time she lay unconscious in bed, ill, far exceeded the time she had been awake and active.
Spring, when she could have seen many of her favorite flowers, had already arrived in full force and was now passing into its final days. The season that Lusenford called summer—but which wasn’t particularly hot—was drawing near.
While Caella slept, even the kitchen renovation—a project expensive enough that even the wealthiest lord would hesitate—was completed. Surprisingly, the person who felt the most relieved about the extensive overhaul, which included completely replacing both sewage and water supply systems, was the physician, who had absolutely nothing to do with the kitchen.
“It’s become very clean. Cleanliness is truly important everywhere, Your Highness.”
Darinka emphasized this during her morning examination, which had now become part of her daily routine.
“Thanks to this, the laundry maids now find their work much easier and can spend more time caring for their children. Accidents from carrying water have also decreased. Many people used to slip and fall on icy paths while hauling heavy buckets, breaking bones and sometimes dying from the resulting illness.”
Caella knew this well. During her time as Grand Duchess, she had been treated so poorly that she ended up learning even the lowliest tasks a Grand Duchess shouldn’t have known—and she had eagerly sought out such work herself.
Naturally, she understood just how harsh winter was and how many people perished from the cold. She herself had once slipped and broken bones, and had nearly died from the chill.
“That’s why I requested more soap. Children get so grimy, after all. If they just wash their hands and feet properly, they’d fall sick less often.”
Though someone had insisted it wasn’t necessary, Madame Sirenster—the head maid who accompanied Darinka on every examination, insisting she must know the mistress’s health condition—nodded solemnly in agreement.
Being exceptionally meticulous herself, she immediately placed a large soap order as Darinka had requested. The former steward would have exploded in outrage, demanding to know the exact price per bar of soap.
“We’ll be able to get it cheaply from Ostein.”
Caella, who had been listening quietly, spoke up. Instantly, Madame Sirenster’s eyes lit up. If Ostein was overflowing with goods—and being a coastal region, surely salt would be abundant there—then it stood to reason they’d produce plenty of soap as well.
“If we bring it in via waterways instead of overland routes, shipping costs would be reduced. Couldn’t we just sail along the coast and then upriver?”
“Are there ships capable of sailing upriver?”

My Arch-enemy Sealed My Memory and Said That He is My Husband
This is an incredibly captivating story that you absolutely shouldn’t miss! I’ll give a brief introduction here, and below you’ll find a detailed synopsis of the plot.

The female lead is a fierce and powerful demon king. The male lead is a once-in-a-millennium celestial lord, admired by the entire cultivation world.
They are equally matched, legendary rivals who have battled for centuries.
In the final duel, the female lead is gravely injured. The male lead saves her, seals her memories, and hides her true identity. He tells her that he is her fiancé. His entire life has been flawless—except for the one thing he never expected, never controlled, and never wanted to control: falling for his greatest enemy. She is his inner demon, his obsession.
When the female lead regains her memories, she is furious at his deception.
She makes his life a living hell.
And somehow, the male lead—possibly a total masochist—doesn’t mind at all. In fact, he’s happy she’s paying attention to him.
Yep, we’re back to my favorite trope: male lead suffering. If you love this kind of story, jump into the pit with me now!!!
Intro
Dong Xia lost her memory.
Her handsome and extremely powerful fiancé Li Qing comforted her: “It’s okay if you can’t remember. I’ll always be with you.”
Everyone thought Dong Xia’s ancestors must have burned incense to get such a perfect fiancé. He was the number one person in the immortal realm, yet he remained chaste and only loved her.
…
The day before marrying her fiancé, Dong Xia finally remembered everything.
She wasn’t suffering from memory loss at all.
Her arch-enemy had made her fake her death, destroyed her cultivation, replaced her memories, and pretended to be her deeply in love fiancé.
No wonder he said, “It’s okay if you can’t remember”!
Dong Xia laughed coldly as she pulled out her long knife: Li Qing, prepare to die 🙂
*
Li Qing, as the supreme being of the immortal realm, was the people’s shining beacon.
The only unknown stain in his life was his affection for Dong Xia, the ruler of the demon realm.
In the final battle of the war between immortals and demons, the sky collapsed and the earth shattered. The ruler of the demon realm was finally slain under the sword of the supreme being of the immortal realm, and everyone in the immortal realm applauded.
The cultivation world lost a ruler of the demon realm.
And in the back mountain of Li Qing’s cave dwelling, he secretly hid away a fiancée.
Notes:
1. The female lead is white on the outside, black on the inside, and the queen of flattery; the male lead repeatedly tests the edge of darkness, a VIP guest at the crematorium.
2. Fantasy cultivation world setting.

B.Rexie Chapter 83 — Paragraph 56Didn’t hatred and revenge require strength? She was utterly exhausted, worn down
She’s too depressed to even muster the energy to truly hate him, let alone try to find some way to get revenge on him. Not that it would even work, in her mind.
subaru tachibana Chapter 83 — Paragraph 57She didn’t have Pheon’s iron will, nor could she ever be as vibrant and spirited
Yes death…… Not just any death hunger…. The worst feeling imaginable and dying
applehead jackson Chapter 83 — Paragraph 129"Come on, Caella, that’s enough. Just take my hand and come with me."
I don’t think forcing her to do something will work either 😬🤔
