Tae Sang quickly turned his head to check on Da Jung first.

As expected, her appearance was quite disheveled.

The wide hem of her pants had somehow rolled up to her thighs, and the loose neckline had slipped crookedly down, barely revealing one collarbone.

Though still half-asleep, his body moved faster than ever.

Tae Sang stood squarely in front of Da Jung, blocking her view completely—now all Secretary Kim could see from his side was one leg sticking out beyond the sofa.

But only for a moment—quietly, her knees bent, and that slender leg shifted behind Tae Sang as if seeking shelter.

“D-D-Deputy Director… I didn’t see anything at all.”

Secretary Kim cleared his throat and averted his gaze.

“…I didn’t do anything.”

His words came out muffled, his teeth clenched tight. Secretary Kim awkwardly glanced at his watch and hurriedly spoke again.

“Ahem—right. My apologies for the intrusion. I’ll wait outside, then.”

-Tlii-ring.

The crisp sound of the door lock signaled the end of the situation. Da Jung let out a delicate sigh and slowly lifted her head, which had been tucked in.

“W-Who was that? Just now, that person?”

“My secretary. He was with us yesterday.”
