Hyundam Elementary School welcomed spring.

This school, bearing the name of Hyun County, was a historically deep-rooted institution that had evolved from a primary school to a national school over the years.

Hyundam Elementary’s garden was famously beautiful, matching its long tradition—especially in spring, when cherry blossom petals fluttered in the breeze and fresh flowers bloomed into a splendid view.

Seo Hoo, who had just turned nine this year, hurriedly crossed the beautiful garden after school.

He was there to pick up his younger sibling from the attached kindergarten of the same elementary school.

His sibling, three years younger, was named Ki Seo On.

Seo On was a pretty little sister.

Although, truth be told, a photo still remained tucked in an album of Seo Hoo bursting into tears upon first seeing baby Seo On, calling her ugly.

Soon, small figures began emerging one by one from the distant kindergarten building.

Seo Hoo, overjoyed, started running toward them.

“Seo On!”

Just then, a little girl with her hair braided into two pigtails, holding her teacher’s hand, turned around at the sound of her name.

“Oppa!”

Her face lit up into a bright smile upon spotting Seo Hoo—she had inherited her father Tae Han’s features.

Seo On stretched both arms wide and ran toward him.
