The time had come when the end of the sunset-drenched legs of the goddess was drawing near.

Johann, who had been walking with an occasional step, was captivated by the back of a woman.

Following the woman’s movements, her night-dark hair, slightly covering the nape of her neck, glistened in the strong wind.

“Olivia.”

The name unconsciously muttered broke the silence.

The princess, who had consistently maintained a poker face, showed a momentary wrinkle between her eyebrows, but Johann did not see it.

Johann, who had been staring out the window until the carriage passed the woman, chuckled.

She was a woman who shouldn’t be here. Perhaps a photo sent by the concubine was deeply engraved in his mind.

“I love you.”

The voice of his ex-wife echoed in his ears again like a hallucination.

One day, before entering the dining room, Morris hinted that tomorrow was the lady’s birthday. Seated, Johann asked in a perfunctory manner.

“Gift. If you want something, tell me.”

Smiling with a somewhat sad smile, his wife said, “I love you.”

He couldn’t understand.

What value did a temporary emotion that would disappear and end someday have?

Johann turned his gaze from the busy woman walking briskly. He locked eyes with the princess, who sat quietly, facing forward like a cold porcelain doll.

The space filled with the climax of the sunset was breathtakingly crimson.

“If you felt uncomfortable, I apologize.”

Johann apologized politely.

The princess of Krantz remained silent.

Even in the blazing red light, there was a slight chill in the princess’s cold eyes.

It quickly disappeared, and she soon turned to the opposite window.

Johann also turned his head. Checking his wristwatch as a habit, he left his meaningless gaze on the distant Lontos Palace.

The quiet woman wasn’t bad.

At least this princess wouldn’t talk about love.

That alone wasn’t a bad deal for Johann.

Now it was time for him to focus on a new negotiation with the Crown Prince.

Things he would gain as a condition of becoming a knight again on the chessboard.

The right to issue currency and government bonds from the International Bank, which entered the Leopold Saga takeover. And the elevation as a central bank.

By now, the balance should be right. In the yard where the engagement turned into trash not even six months after the divorce.

Of course, that’s when Leopold Saga took over.

As always, with a hundred percent certainty, Johann Leopold’s grip would fall.

Johann decided to think only about the financial kingdom he would achieve.

The carriage smoothly slid into the golden main gate of the palace. Soon, the carriage arrived in front of the Empress’s residence.

“You idiot!”

Russell Dixon’s rough voice roared. Seeing his appearance, the secretary raised his head as if to say, “Here comes trouble.”

“Come immediately! Right now!!!”
Did I stay up all night to create such a thing?

Russell’s black mustache trembled.

At the deafening noise, the secretary hastily left the icy office and ran towards where Russell Junior was.

The sound of a thrown object hitting the wall was harsh.

The secretary fully understood Russell’s feelings.

It was a disgrace to the family. If it were his son, he would have disabled him for life, unable to even hold a racket.

Even as he breathed heavily, amidst the pathetic feeling, while running, the atmosphere of Court 12, where he had rushed in a month, was very heated.

Laughter with a pleasing mid-low pitch, carried by the wind, could be heard.

“Ahaha. Nice. Very nice, Miss Blan-chet.”

The man who laughed, revealing his perfect teeth, was none other than Russell Junior.

“Now, let me put it in a bit deeper this time. Focus on your backhand.”

The way he exerted a lot of strength on his broad shoulders looked like a rooster puffing up its chest in front of a hen.

“Yes, Coach.”

The woman smiled brightly like the morning sun.

Can I withstand such a smile? The secretary approached Russell Junior from behind, feeling annoyed. Sensing his presence, with a bang! he sent a serve and said as if annoyed.

“I said I’m busy.”

“It might not work. You seem very angry.”

“Then I shouldn’t go any further.”

“But.”

“Your swing is good now. Keep the angle of your arm.”

Russell Junior diligently returned Olivia’s ball, sparing no advice that seemed useless.

Who is teaching whom what.

Such pathetic…

It was hard not to swear.

Better to act like an idiot in front of someone who would brag about it.

Where would it break? The secretary, who had run with concern about where it might break, turned his footsteps in a way that said, “Do as you please.”

The shadow was getting shorter. The water stream from the large fountain, announcing eleven o’clock, gushed out refreshingly. The white foam, breaking like grains of sand, sparkled in rainbow colors in the sunlight.

“Let’s stop here today.”

With a deep breath, Olivia stood still in the middle of the court, raised her head after taking a moment to catch her breath, and said.

“Thank you for today, Coach.”

After Being Cheated On, She Picked Up a Treasure (Female-dominant)

One-line summary: The husband I married on a whim had been secretly in love with me for a long time.

On the day when Jun Shao finally obtained the imperial decree for her marriage, Lan Qu, the person she had admired for six years, defied the decree and ran away.

Her gentleness and devotion, her promise of a lifetime together, were all disregarded by him. Instead, he dreamed of entering the palace to serve the Emperor’s sister as a sixth-rank attendant.

News of this incident spread throughout the capital, and the alleys in front of and behind the Lan mansion were crowded with people who came to watch the commotion.

Jun Shao should have been embarrassed and angry.

But someone stepped in to protect her dignity.

The figure was in a miserable state, yet still possessed an undeniable elegance and handsomeness.

The young lord struggled to climb the wall of the Lan mansion and shouted to her, “If he won’t marry you, I will!”

So, Jun Shao took advantage of the situation and married the person.

She thought the young lord did it to save the Lan family from the crime of defying the imperial decree, but never imagined that from beginning to end, what he coveted was her.

After the wedding, Jun Shao felt like she was living in a dream.

Her Wife-master was as beautiful as a fairy in a painting, skilled in the six arts, well-versed in poetry and literature, capable of being gentle and attentive, and also grand and dignified. Most importantly, she was the only one in his heart and eyes.

Jun Shao didn’t know how Lan Shiwu, as a illegitimate son without a father and blessed with beauty, had managed to preserve his purity, recklessly escape, and use his last ounce of strength to ruin his own reputation, all because of his love for her, just to stand before her.

She could only see him gazing at her with eyes full of love, and when she bestowed a name upon him, his eyes shone like stars.

“You have come to me like a weary bird perching on a branch. I shall call you A Qi.”
