The lemon-colored ribbon fluttered gently in the early summer breeze. Undoing the ribbon encircling the sky-blue box, a white racket emerged when the lid was lifted.

“Do you like it?”

As Mrs. Marie placed the coffee on the silver tray, she asked while placing it on the table.

Olivia, holding the racket taken from the box, looked up at Mrs. Marie with a satisfied smile.

“I like the feeling. It feels like we’ve been together for a long time.”

Olivia stood up. Taking a light swing stance, Olivia expressed admiration continually. It was incomparable to the rackets rented by the hotel.

“I like it.”

The weight was just right, not too light, and the head size was perfect.
A slightly lumpy something touched the fingertips that had been stroking along the smooth oval head. Turning the racket, Olivia Blanshet’s initials were embroidered in white thread on the left shoulder. A gentle smile spread.

“Please have it before the coffee.”

Mrs. Marie, who had been watching Olivia with a satisfied smile like a delighted child, picked up the empty tray and left.

Up until then, Olivia’s gaze had been fixed on the delicately embroidered initials. The slanted, seemingly reclined handwriting was exquisite. She wanted to immediately stand on the court and swing the racket.

“Ah, Miss?”

Amid the morning tranquility, Anne’s urgent shout resonated. Olivia looked at Anne, who was rushing over with the racket in her hand. Anne seemed unusually flustered.

“What’s the matter, Anne?”

“A, a letter came.”

“A letter?”

Olivia’s eyes widened a little. The only people who knew the address here were Edgar and Elaine. Could it be a letter Elaine sent out of curiosity about the necklace?

With Olivia putting down the racket, Anne handed her the letter.

!

At the top of the white envelope, decorated with gold along the edges, an elegant handwriting caught Olivia’s eyes.

“Johan Edinborough Leopold”

Olivia was as stunned as Anne, and her body stiffened.

“…No way. How did he find it out?”

Olivia had never thought her handwriting was special. Johan, who solved the mystery, was surprisingly astonishing.

“It seems he caught the thief.”

Anne’s eyes sparkled.

“So quickly?”

It had only been three days since Olivia sent a letter to Johan. Olivia couldn’t close her slightly opened lips.

Having regulated her breathing, Olivia slowly opened the envelope and took out the letter.

“To Olivia

From now on, reveal your identity.”

…

There was not a single line about the news of Diane Brook. Nothing about the disposal of the Pink Diamond Necklace.

The response was as cold and aristocratic as the chilling, rough handwriting.

“From Johan?”

Edgar asked in surprise at Gerald’s report. It was an unexpected expression.

“Yes.”

“What does it say?”

“I didn’t have time to burn it and check.”

“I see.”

With that, silence returned.

Edgar glanced outside the carriage. Leaving the city, the carriage ran towards the peaceful suburb, tinged with green. The leaves, now darker, sparkled in the morning sunlight.

A letter from Johan… Leaning back in his seat, Edgar, with a languid gaze, became lost in thought.

Why would Johan personally send a letter to his divorced wife? Especially at this moment when the engagement with Princess Krantz was imminent.

For what reason.

Through the leaves that had thickened, the sunlight poured down. The glaring light strangely irritated his nerves.

Johan, who had no reason to act without benefit, remained motionless. Why.
Edgar’s questions were not easily dispelled.

The international mail that Olivia sent through the maid. Was it also intended for Johan?

But now, for what reason.

The carriage had already turned into a quiet country road, and after about ten minutes of riding, neatly manicured grass paths spread out on both sides as if measured like a straight line. At the end of that path stood a boldly imposing red building.

Dublin Cricket & Tennis Club.

Today’s destination.

While Edgar was contemplating, the carriage circled around the central fountain and came to a stop in front of the entrance.

On the entrance of the ivy-covered building, two crossed rackets and the golden decorations of laurel patterns that enveloped them were sparkling in the sunlight.

“Welcome, Lord Ransloth.”

A club staff member who got off the carriage greeted Edgar with a crisp salute. He nodded slightly in return. The club manager, who seemed to have received a notice in advance, was also present.

“He’s waiting for you.”

“All right.”

Smiling, Edgar followed the man up the spacious stairs leading to the building. He decided to put aside thoughts about Johan for a moment.

Henry MacDowell, wearing a white shirt neatly tucked in, a green cardigan, and white cotton trousers, greeted Edgar at a round table adorned with tea and fresh grapes.

“Come on in.”

“Nice to see you after a long time.”

As soon as Edgar entered the reception room, he greeted the man with a bow. A formal smile appeared on the man’s face, seated by the sunny window.

“Have a seat.”

“Yes.”

Edgar sat down with a cheerful smile and proper posture. As he looked at him, Henry thought to himself.

What a fox-like guy.

Ex-husband Wants Reconciliation

One-line summary: Chasing the wife to the crematorium (making an effort to attract someone who has become indifferent), the female lead doesn’t look back, the second male lead takes the position.

Intro:

To repay the kindness of the older generation, Su Mu crossed into a female-dominated world and became a live-in daughter-in-law of the Yan family, single-handedly saving the Yan family from fire and water.

But her husband, Yan Jiyue, the eldest son of the Yan family, treated her with sarcasm and never showed her a good face.

It wasn’t until after Su Mu’s death that this pampered and arrogant young master shed a few fake tears and pretended to want to die for love.

This life’s kindness was enough. If there was a next life, she would definitely kick Yan Jiyue away.

Who knew that the heavens would be so kind as to allow her to be reborn, returning to the time when she had just married into the Yan family.

Su Mu glanced at the Yan eldest son, who still spoke coldly to her, and threw a divorce letter in front of him.

“Let’s divorce!”

***

Yan Jiyue never imagined that he would be reborn. He happily went to find Su Mu, wanting to make up for the mistakes he had made in his ignorant youth.

Wasn’t the reason the heavens allowed him to be reborn to let him reconcile with Su Mu?

But when he pushed open the door to Su Mu’s room, the person lying on the bed was another man.

Su Mu’s personal attendant, Xie Yi.

Yan Jiyue hated him so much that his teeth itched. In front of Su Mu, Xie Yi was a gentle and considerate whisperer of sweet nothings, but in reality, he was vicious-hearted and deliberately sabotaged their husband and wife relationship.

In the previous life, it was he who secretly hid in Su Mu’s coffin and committed suicide, stealing a step ahead of him to be buried with Su Mu.

Yan Jiyue’s eyes were filled with hatred as he cursed, “What kind of thing are you? Your background is lowly, what right do you have to occupy Su Mu?”

Xie Yi looked at the sleeping Su Mu and no longer pretended to be a whisperer of sweet nothings.

He proudly stuck out his belly, “I have the right because my belly is capable of giving the Wife-master a daughter.”

***

Yan Jiyue was consumed with jealousy. He spread rumors that Xie Yi had once been branded with the mark of a “harlot” on his chest.

But on the night Xie Yi cut off the flesh bearing that mark, Su Mu suddenly realized something was amiss.

“How did you know the exact moment I was poisoned? And why did you show up a month early?”

Xie Yi remained silent, blood from his wound soaking through his robes. His sapphire eyes brimmed with anguish – or was it just a flawless act?

Between a once-arrogant husband now seeking redemption, and a gentle soul willing to die for her – who truly held the darkest secrets? And could it be that Su Mu and Yan Jiyue weren’t the only ones given a second chance at life…?
