Jun’s hair looked neat again. All traces of my touch had vanished. And that wasn’t disappointing at all—it was actually a huge relief.

After all, it wouldn’t have been quite right for the groom in our tiny wedding photos—taken here today—to look like he was wearing a thatched roof on his head. Not that I had any room to talk, considering I was the one who’d turned his hair into that mess.

“Thanks to you, Lee Ha Ru, I’ve washed my hair twice today.”

“Wow, you’re back to normal!”

“You say that like you thought you’d never get back to how you were.”

“…Not at all.”

I’d been secretly worried watching Jun walk toward the bathroom—would washing really fix it? I’d layered on so much wax it was practically caked on. But in the end, every trace disappeared completely, saving our wedding photos. What a relief.

I went up on my tiptoes and gently ran my fingers through Jun’s still-damp hair, testing its texture. The stiff clumps were all gone, leaving only softness at my fingertips.

“What? It smoothed out way better than I expected—just like my hair used to be?”

My fingers froze mid-motion, caught right on the sore spot.

“You were the one who made it like that! My arms ached combing through every single strand.”
